Ramallah municipality prepares to organize "Ramadan market"

The Ramallah municipality is preparing to hold the "Ramadan Market" next month, which is the first market of its kind organized by the municipality, which includes many recreational and community activities.


The head of the media and protocol department in the Ramallah municipality, Maram Totah, told Al-Quds.com: “The (Ramadan market) will be held in the square opposite the Martyrs’ Monument in the old town of Ramallah, between the sixth and tenth of next month, and it is the first of its kind that it organizes. The municipality, in an effort to create a Ramadan atmosphere in the old town for citizens, stimulate the internal tourism movement and attract citizens, and spread the culture of joy, love and goodness in the month of goodness through the activities organized by the municipality in the market for children and adults.


According to Totah, the market includes spaces and booths to display Ramadan food, drinks and sweets, and special decorations for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, noting that the municipality is interested in any proposals suitable for the nature of the market, as the market is in its first edition, which is held in the city of Ramallah.


Totah emphasized that the Ramallah Municipality opens the way for the participation of individuals, shops and companies, provided that their products fall within specific categories related to Ramadan food and sweets, or special for Eid al-Fitr, or their supplies such as drinks, natural juices, spices, dates, decorations for Ramadan and Eid, or special gifts. By the way. Totah called on citizens who like to participate, to follow up with the municipality within these conditions.


Totah indicated that the arena in which the Ramadan market will be held is located in the Old City of Ramallah and is easily accessible to all citizens, in order to enjoy a Ramadan atmosphere, where entertainment and community activities are held.
