The State of Palestine , represented by the National Council, submitted a written objection to the office of the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, strongly protesting Israel's presence in the Committee for Combating Terrorism and Violent Extremism within the European Community.

The European Geopolitical Group in the International Parliament, to which Israel belongs, had recommended the Israeli Danny Danon for membership in the committee, succeeding Avi Dichter, who left it a year after joining it after his appointment as Minister of Agriculture in the fascist government of Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a speech during the meetings of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Vice-President of the National Council, Musa Hadid, confirmed that when the senior advisory group for combating terrorism and violent extremism was formed, we hoped that it would do justice to the victims of terrorism and work to reduce terrorism and extremism, unless The presence of the representative of Israel in this body undermines the purpose for which he was raised.

Hadid added that the Israeli parliament (the Knesset) is controlled by a group of terrorist settlers who have established gangs that adopt and practice terrorism as an approach and call for the extermination of the Palestinian people, and some of them are wanted for justice in the occupying state itself, in addition to that the Israeli parliament is the first and last responsible for a number of laws Racism, which in its contents represents the true meaning of terrorism and extremism, such as the law of the Jewishness of the state and seeking to approve the law of executing Palestinian prisoners and other laws.

Hadid stressed that Israel, as an occupying power, represents the highest degree of terrorism and violation of human rights, and continues to deny hundreds of UN resolutions without deterrence or accountability.

He said, "Israel seeks, through its presence in this committee, to impunity, to cover up its organized terrorism (state terrorism) against the defenseless Palestinian people, to obtain a certificate of innocence from the terrorism it practices, and to expose the set of values and principles on which this union of ours is based to accountability and danger." This is something we must all reject."
