The occupation postpones the hearing of the request for the early release of three female prisoners
Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Today, Tuesday, the Israeli Occupation Court postponed the session (two-thirds of the period) to consider the request for the early release of the prisoners , Nourhan Awwad, Malak Suleiman, and Israa Jaabis.
According to the Prisoners' Club, the occupation postponed the request for the early release of the three female prisoners until the 20th of next December, which was held today in Nazareth.
It is noteworthy that the captive, Malak Suleiman, from Jerusalem, was arrested in 2016, when she was 16 years old at the time, and the occupation sentenced her to ten years in prison, which was later reduced to nine years, and the captive, Nourhan Awad, from Qalandia camp, was arrested in 2015, and she suffered several injuries. She was a child at the time, and the occupation sentenced her to 13 and a half years in prison. Her sentence was reduced by ten years.
The prisoner, Israa Ja’abis, from Jerusalem, who is one of the most difficult health cases in the occupation prisons, was arrested in 2015, after the occupation soldiers opened fire on her vehicle near a military checkpoint, which led to it exploding and catching fire. 60%, and she lost her fingers, and suffered deformities in the face and back.
The occupation court later issued a prison sentence of 11 years against her, noting that she is the mother of a son and faces very difficult health conditions, and she needs intensive treatment and surgeries, and the occupation has so far been procrastinating in performing them.
