Bethlehem: The Shin Bet threatens Fatah field leaders with arrest or deportation
Bethlehem - "Jerusalem" dot com - Najeeb Farraj - Officers in the Israeli " Shin Bet " service threatened activists and field officials in the " Fatah " movement with arrest or deportation, during phone calls to meet them.
Muhammad al-Jaafari, coordinator of the PLO factions in the Bethlehem governorate and a member of the Territory Committee of the "Fatah" movement in the governorate, was one of those who were summoned by the officer who calls himself "Shaker", where the interview took place at the Israeli intelligence headquarters in the Gush Etzion settlement complex.
Al-Jaafari indicated that he underwent a thorough search upon his arrival at the headquarters, and after he moved to meet the officer, he walked him for about 200 meters, then took him to one of the rooms, and touched on the issue of the solidarity tent with the prisoners at the entrance of Dheisheh camp, which the Israeli officer claimed had turned into a place for incitement. And that he (i.e. al-Jaafari) is one of the instigators, which puts him before the options of arrest, deportation to Gaza, or to Syria.
Al-Jaafari said that he responded to the officer by saying: "You should not expect, while you are continuing the occupation, settlement, killings and arbitrary arrests against the Palestinian people, that our children will throw roses and olive branches on you," wondering during his conversation with the officer about the reasons for the non-stop raids and abuse of citizens without any justification. , and the continued detention of the bodies of the martyrs and blocking the horizon of the youth without work and the imposition of a policy of security prevention.
Al-Jaafari explained, during his interview with Al-Quds.com, that he told the Shin Bet officer that they had blocked any political horizon for the Palestinians, increased settlements, undermined the two-state solution, disavowed the Oslo tunnels, and worked to spread weapons in the West Bank in a deliberate manner. They brought you as is happening in Nablus and Jenin.
The Fatah leader considered that the purpose of the interview was that the occupation forces want to deliver a message that they are on the lookout if the movement considers the option of resistance officially.
