Gaza - "Jerusalem" dot com - Ahmed Al-Masharawi - The delegation of Azzun Club, the West Bank handball champion, arrived in Gaza, via the Beit Hanoun crossing, to play the first leg match of the Palestinian Super Cup against Khadamat Al-Nuseirat Club, the champion of the Strip.

He was received by a large delegation of official, legal and sports personalities, led by Abdel Salam Haniyeh, Assistant Secretary of the Supreme Council, where Haniyeh expressed his happiness at the arrival of Azzun to his country, stressing that the match embodies sports unity despite the geographical obstacles.

Haniyeh expressed his happiness at the arrival of Azzun among his family and relatives, wishing that this meeting would continue, and the two teams would play a match worthy of their history, and in a manner commensurate with this historic visit that brings together the game's heroes in both parts of the country.

The Azzun delegation includes 18 members, headed by Riyad Selim.

The Israeli occupation army prevented 8 players from the main strength of the team from entering Gaza.
