During the verdict, the judge asked him, "You are a man of law and you understand the law... Why did you not fight the State of Israel by law?" He answered them, "The occupier does not follow any law, but rather follows the law of the jungle by killing innocent people, children and women, so an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and the beginning is darker.. and you are an occupier." And she adds, "After issuing the verdict against Izz al-Din, the judge asked him: Do you regret what you did?", He responded with determination and heroism, "I did not regret it...because you are the ruler and the executioner at the same time...and it is a struggle against the occupier, in defense of the innocent children and the dignity of our people."
