Engagement of Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II

Jordan - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Jordanian Royal Court announced, in a statement on Wednesday, the engagement of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah to the young Saudi woman, Rajwa bint Khalid bin Musaed Al Saif.


According to the statement, Prince Hussein, 28, got engaged to Miss Ragwa Khaled bin Musaed Al Saif, 28, in Saudi Arabia, in the presence of Jordan's King Abdullah II and his wife, Queen Rania.




He added, "Al-Fatihah was read in the home of Miss Rajawa's father, in Riyadh, in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hassan bin Talal (the former crown prince and uncle of the king), Prince Hashim bin Abdullah II, Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein (the king's brother), and Prince Hashem bin Al-Hussein." (King's brother).



Prince Hussein was born in Amman on June 28, 1994. He is the eldest of the children of King Abdullah and Queen Rania. He has a brother, Prince Hashem, and two sisters, Princess Iman and Princess Salma.


He finished high school at King's Academy in Jordan in 2012, and studied international history at Georgetown University in the United States before receiving, like his father and late grandfather, King Hussein, military lessons at Royal Sandhurst in Britain, from which he graduated in 2017.


Prince Hussein has been the crown prince of Jordan since 2009.


His fiancée was born in Riyadh and is a descendant of the sheikhs of Sudair in Najd. She has two brothers, Faisal and Nayef, and one sister, Dana. She received her high school education in Saudi Arabia and completed her higher education at the School of Architecture at Syracuse University in New York.
