Israeli occupation forces launch arrest campaign in the West Bank
Yesterday and today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least (25) citizens from the West Bank, including a child and former prisoners.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces executed former prisoner Ahmed Awaysa (30 years old) from Tubas during his arrest.
In addition, the occupation forces carried out field investigations of dozens of citizens, specifically in the town of Beit Ummar/Hebron.
The arrests and field investigations were accompanied by attacks and threats against the detainees and their families, in addition to direct shooting with the intent to kill, and widespread acts of sabotage and destruction that affected citizens’ homes.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces have arrested more than 11,100 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against our people.
It is worth mentioning that these arrest campaigns constitute the most prominent fixed and systematic policies used by the occupation forces, and they are also among the most prominent tools of the policy of (collective punishment), which also constitutes a central tool for the occupation in targeting citizens, in light of the comprehensive aggression against our people, and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases includes detainees from the West Bank, excluding Gaza, whose numbers are estimated in the thousands.
