Belgian Minister of Development Cooperation Caroline Gennes warned of the spread of epidemics and polio in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression, calling for a ceasefire.

In a video clip on her account on the "X" platform, today, Tuesday, Guinness indicated that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is "unbearable due to the ongoing Israeli attacks for about 11 months," indicating that "hunger and epidemics cannot be curbed."

She warned of the spread of epidemic diseases in Gaza, indicating that polio is reappearing in the Strip.

"Meanwhile, the Israeli army continues to give evacuation orders," she continued.

She stressed that water, food and health services "are not weapons of war and should not be used for this purpose under any circumstances."
