Ben Gvir's statements...a declaration of war on Islam and Muslims!!

The statements of the extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, in which he explicitly declared that he wanted to demolish the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and build a Jewish synagogue in its place, were not surprising to anyone, because they were issued by a terrorist minister in coordination with Benjamin Netanyahu and the extreme right-wing government, and in the context of clear political and security support, to continue the series of attacks and violations against the mosque and spread the spirit of hatred through inflammatory language, aiming to feed the policy of extremism towards changing the historical and legal status in Jerusalem and its sanctities, by imposing new facts and practices supported by false Israeli stories, narratives and accounts, the latest of which was the epic prostration carried out by the settlers for the first time with Ben Gvir’s last storming.

These statements are considered an unprecedented and dangerous escalation of incitement, in the context of an extremist Jewish plan to occupy and Judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the three holiest places in Islam, and to obliterate the Palestinian, Islamic and Christian identity of the city of Jerusalem. They are also considered a prelude to declaring war on Islam and Muslims, in an effort by Ben Gvir and his government to fuel religious conflict in the region.

The conspiracies against our people by the occupation government intersect, and these statements are nothing but a realistic embodiment and clear evidence of the occupation’s aims and goals in the city of Jerusalem, to give a Judaization character to all the landmarks of the city that are full of pure Arab and Palestinian history.

The Islamic and religious authorities and bodies, most notably the Council of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, the Supreme Islamic Authority, the Fatwa House, the Jerusalem Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs Department, and the Supreme Presidential Committee for Church Affairs, have held the international community, and especially the Islamic nation, responsible for the recent violations taking place in Al-Aqsa Mosque, due to negligence and failure to perform the doctrinal duty to rescue the mosque and save the first of the two Qiblahs and the Isra’ and Mi’raj of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, from the escalating desecration and Judaization operations by the occupation government, which protects the extremist Jewish fanatics and provides them with protection to provoke the feelings of millions of Muslims in all parts of the world.

These statements and the despicable policies and practices that they entail, against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the violation of its sanctity, will push the region into a major explosion that will affect the entire world. Accordingly, the international community must move to restrain Israel and prevent it from achieving the settlers’ aims and goals.

The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with its entire area, courtyards, corridors and walls, will remain a place of worship exclusively for Muslims under the management of the Jerusalem Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs, affiliated with the Jordanian Ministry of Endowments, which is the only legal entity that has the exclusive right to manage the affairs of the Noble Sanctuary of Jerusalem. Therefore, Jordan, as the Hashemite custodian of the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, and which strongly condemned and denounced these statements, must also move at various levels and take all measures to stop the repeated attacks on the holy sites, and preserve the legal and historical status quo in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
