Israeli intelligence estimates indicate that Iran has decided to attack Israel directly in response to the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, and may do so in the coming days.

In contrast, the Israeli Military Intelligence (Aman) and the Israeli Air Force were mobilized, in light of the repeated estimates that an Iranian attack will be launched in the coming days, according to what the Israeli website "Walla" confirmed on Sunday.

According to what Walla reported from two sources who said they were informed, these intelligence estimates came in the last few hours; the two sources indicated that Tehran may implement its response, "even before the negotiations" scheduled to be held on Thursday, while the location of the negotiations has not been determined, which is likely to be limited to Doha or Cairo.

The two sources said, "This represents a change in the assessment that was made in the past few days, which was that international pressure on Iran would prevent it from carrying out a direct attack against Israel."
