West Bank: Israel continues its aggression against Nour Shams camp
Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression against Nour Shams camp, east of the city of Tulkarm, and caused widespread destruction to its infrastructure and citizens’ property.
According to local sources, the occupation forces pushed more of their vehicles towards the camp and imposed a tight military cordon on it, preventing citizens from leaving or entering it, and deployed their snipers on the roofs and inside the high-rise buildings adjacent and surrounding the camp.
It added that since four o'clock in the morning, the occupation bulldozers have been bulldozing and destroying the camp's infrastructure. They also deliberately vandalized public and private property along Nablus Street, and destroyed the main water line feeding the camp.
At dawn today, the occupation forces stormed the city of Tulkarm, accompanied by four military bulldozers from its western axis, and roamed its main streets, specifically Al-Alimi Street, Al-Sikka Street, and Nablus Street, amid intense flights of reconnaissance aircraft at a low altitude.
Our correspondent reported that the occupation bulldozers destroyed the vicinity of the Al-Younis roundabout in the northern neighborhood of the city, before continuing their march towards the Aktaba suburb and bulldozing the vicinity of the Aktaba roundabout east of Tulkarm, and destroying what remained of the area of the martyr Saif Abu Lebda roundabout along the street adjacent to the camp.
Yesterday, Sunday, an occupation drone bombed a house in Al-Manshiya neighborhood in Nour Shams camp, killing the young man Saeed Izzat Jaber (24 years old) and wounding 5 others, including two in serious condition.
With the martyrdom of Jaber, the number of martyrs who died on the soil of Tulkarm Governorate since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023 rises to 114 martyrs.
