West Bank: A young Palestinian was injured and others were arrested during a campaign of raids
A young man was injured and others were arrested, at dawn and Thursday morning, during a campaign of raids in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
In Jenin, a young man was injured in the Old City in the Sibat neighborhood by shrapnel from occupation bullets in the face, and the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from transporting him to the hospital.
Israeli special forces stormed the Carmel Pharmacy near Jenin Governmental Hospital, which is close to the Jenin camp, and arrested those inside it, in addition to Jamal Zubaidi and Jamal Hawail. Among the detainees were identified: pharmacist Dr. Iyad Abu Al-Hayja, owner of the Carmel Pharmacy, Najib Fathi Hawail, and Osama. Abu Arab, Naeem Al-Saadi, Ghassan Al-Tirawi, Jamal Abu Eid, and Abdul Zubaidi, and transferred them to an unknown destination.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces stormed the town of Daqu, and carried out raids and searches of citizens’ homes, which ended with the arrest of two citizens, without their identities being known.
The occupation forces also stormed the town of Al-Issawiya, northeast of Jerusalem, and carried out raids and searches that affected a number of homes, assaulted citizens and interrogated them on the ground, and launched sound and gas attacks, without any arrests being reported until the preparation of this news.
In Nablus, the occupation forces arrested the two young men, Muhammad Asaad Yousef Shehadeh and Ibrahim Abu Izzat Tirawi, after they raided their homes, searched them, and wreaked havoc on them.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested the citizen, Muhammad Mashal, during their storming of the village of Deir Ghassana, northwest of Ramallah.
In Hebron, the occupation forces stormed the town of Yatta, and arrested: Mahmoud Muhammad Abu Aram, Ibrahim Omar Daifallah, and university student Anwar Iyad Al-Amour (20 years old), after raiding and searching their homes and tampering with their contents.
In the town of Dura, southwest of the city of Hebron, the occupation forces arrested the citizen Basil Hussam Farrah, and raided a number of homes in the town of Al-Samou, south of the city, including the homes of the family of citizen Nour Al-Din Mahareq and his sons.
