Ismail recalls the family massacre in the first week of the aggression against Gaza, when F-16 planes bombed the family’s modern three-story house, which had only been built two years ago, in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza. He explained that he lost his parents, two brothers, and the son of one of them. And the wives of his three brothers, while his brother and son were injured.
Al-Dali explained that the bombing that took them by surprise yesterday morning, Wednesday, was violent, causing the family members to run into the street in shock and amazement. May God grant them salvation once again, but this time without casualties, as the bombing this time was limited to destroying a large part of the house and burning the furniture.
He continued, with pain and sorrow mixed with his words: The body of my mother, the martyr Nofod Al-Dali (60 years old), and the body of the martyr Hoda Al-Sousi, my brother Ahmed’s wife, are still under the rubble, while the bodies of my father, the martyr Khaled Al-Dali (65 years old), and my two martyred brothers, the accountant Mahmoud (28 years old), and the dentist, have been exhumed. Ibrahim (30 years old), his wife, the martyr Nada Mahdi, a dentist (28 years old), their son, the martyr Abdullah (2 years old), and the martyr Israa Najm (29 years old), the wife of my brother Muhammad, who was in Egypt at the time.
Ismail continued his talk to Al-Quds.com about the moment he suffered moderate injuries in the first bombing and miraculously escaped death, saying: When they bombed the house, I fell from the third floor and became under a pergola made of rubble. I thought I had been martyred, but I saw a faint light, so I knew I was still alive, so I crawled on my stomach and my son was crying, and I knew he was alive. Then I fainted after that and did not wake up until Al-Shifa Hospital, and I was next to my brother Ahmed (31 years old), who was moderately injured in the attack. his leg.
The wife of the martyr Mahmoud’s brother, Razan Al-Barbari (22 years old), also survived the bombing (she was pregnant at the time) during her visit to her father’s house. She gave birth to her baby a month ago, and named her baby after her husband, Mahmoud.

Al-Dali explained that the family presented 10 martyrs, including his two cousins, Walid and Muhammad, his uncle Khaled, and 7 members of his family who were martyred in the first week of the war when their house was destroyed. He explained that they, like other families in the Gaza Strip, presented their children on the path to freedom and liberation.
