Most of them are in Ramallah.. Israel launches a massive arrest campaign in the West Bank

At dawn and early Monday morning, the Israeli occupation forces launched a massive arrest campaign in the West Bank.


In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested from the city, Ihab Muhammad Salem Al-Shwaiki, his wife, Maram Sadiq Odeh, and Omar Muhammad Omar. They also arrested from the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron, the citizen Nofal Rabhi Al-Faroukh and his son Abdo, after raiding and searching their homes and tampering with their contents.


According to local sources, the occupation forces raided the neighborhood of Al-Hara Al-Tahta in the town, fired sound bombs towards citizens’ homes, and arrested the injured child, Muhammad Munther Yousef Zaqeq (13 years old), who was wounded by occupation bullets in his foot a week ago.


The occupation forces also searched several homes in the governorate whose owners were known to be former MP Azzam Salhab. They set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron, its towns, villages and camps, and closed a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, cement cubes and earth mounds.


In Ramallah, the occupation forces stormed the town of Silwad in the east, and arrested 29 citizens, after abusing them, during a raid and search of their families’ homes. They had detained dozens of young men and interrogated them on the ground before releasing them.


The occupation forces also stormed Kafr Ni'ma to the west, and arrested more than 30 citizens, in an unprecedented arrest campaign. They also detained dozens of young men and interrogated them on the ground before releasing them.


In Tulkarm, the occupation forces arrested the young man Muhammad Al-Shalbak and Adham Murad Amir after raiding their homes in the eastern neighborhood of the town of Bala’a.


In Bethlehem, the occupation forces arrested the young man Nabhan Fadl Thawabta (39 years old), after raiding and searching his father’s house in the town of Beit Fajjar.


In Nablus, a young man was injured by live bullets in the foot, during confrontations with forces in Martyrs Square in the center of the city.


The occupation forces raided several neighborhoods in the city and arrested the young man, Radi Al-Lawz, after raiding and searching his house.
