Continuous Israeli attacks on citizens’ property in the West Bank

On Thursday morning, the Israeli occupation forces began carrying out demolition operations and notifications of citizens’ property, while settlers uprooted and demolished an agricultural room in various areas in the West Bank.


In Hebron, Israeli bulldozers demolished seven brick and cement homes, in the “Wadi Al-Khalil” area in the town of Al-Dhahiriya, five of which belonged to the two brothers Suhail and Jamal Makharza, inhabited by 37 citizens, and two homes belonging to the two brothers Ratib and Murad Al-Amoul, inhabited by 20 citizens, in addition to destroying all the energy cells. Solar energy that people rely on to generate electricity.


The occupation forces also notified eight houses of demolition in the western area of the town, under the pretext of building without a permit, and their owners were identified as citizens Noah Muhammad al-Jiawi and Ismail Muhammad Aslamiya.


In Tulkarm, the occupation authorities were notified of the cessation of work and construction on agricultural lands located adjacent to the separation and apartheid wall, west of the Shweika suburb, north of Tulkarm.


According to local sources, these forces posted a notice on a plastic house on the land of citizen Ali Abu Saleh, stating that work and construction would be halted.


It pointed out that these lands are agricultural and there are no structures or buildings, except for an agricultural room covered with “Zinko” boards, built since 1994, in addition to some greenhouses, most of which are old and empty of agriculture.


In Nablus, settlers uprooted more than 220 olive trees and demolished an agricultural room belonging to citizen Qusay Abu Rida on his plot of land consisting of 42 dunums, located in the northern eastern side of the town, close to the “Majdlim” settlement established on the town’s lands.


Local sources reported that settlers began bulldozing operations in the area about a week ago, preventing farmers from reaching their lands. He pointed out that he suffered heavy losses as a result of the attack, as his land produced about 70 tins of oil annually.


The occupation forces also handed the family of detainee Ahmed Samer Dawabsha a notice to demolish their house in the village of Duma, south of Nablus, and gave them 72 hours to vacate it.


Meanwhile, settlers attacked the eastern outskirts of the town of Beit Dahan and set fire to large areas of land planted with olives, wheat, and agricultural crops.


The occupation forces arrested Dawabsha after raiding his house on the twenty-second of last April.


In the northern Jordan Valley, settlers attacked vegetable stands near the villages of Bardala and Ain al-Bayda, forced their owners to leave, and seized all their contents of vegetables and fruits.
