US Representatives approve a bill to provide military aid to Israel

Today, Saturday, the US House of Representatives approved a bill under which military aid worth $26 billion would be provided to the Israeli occupation entity.

The package will be allocated to strengthen the Israeli Iron Dome, while the text awaits approval by the Senate, which is expected to vote on it on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the “occupation treasury” is considering increasing taxes to finance its ongoing aggression against Gaza, according to the Hebrew Broadcasting Authority.

In another context, 3 informed American sources reported that Washington may impose sanctions on the “Netzah Yehuda” Battalion in the Israeli army due to its implementation of escalating violations in the West Bank, according to the Axios website.

The expected sanctions prevent the "Netzah Yehuda" Battalion from receiving any type of American material assistance and military training.

According to a law issued in 1997, the United States of America prohibits sending foreign aid and training programs affiliated with the Ministry of Defense directed to foreign security, army and police units that commit human rights violations.
