A doctor was killed today, Saturday, and two others were injured, By Israeli occupation forces, in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.

The director of Al-Razi Hospital in Jenin, Fawaz Hammad, reported that doctor Shamekh Kamal Abu Al-Rub (25 years old) was killed, and his brother Muhammad and another young man were injured by Israeli army following its storming of the town.

Abu Al-Rub was injured by live bullets in the abdomen while he and his brother were leaving their home, which led to his immediate death, while his brother was wounded by live bullets in the foot, and another young man in the thigh area.

It is noteworthy that Abu Al-Rub is the son of the Acting Governor of Jenin.

Local sources said that confrontations broke out between the occupation forces and young men, after a special Israeli undercover unit infiltrated the town and besieged a house near a Qabatiya girls’ school.

The same sources added that the occupation forces arrested the young man, Tariq Muhammad Ziyad Abu Al-Rub, after besieging his house in Qabatiya.
