The Qamat Foundation for Documenting the Palestinian Struggle confirmed on Monday that the Facebook and Tiktok platforms had deleted visual productions documenting several stages of the Palestinian struggle.
"Qamat" said in a statement, "What the Facebook and TikTok platforms did in terms of deleting several productions or preventing their publication, and the matter reached the point of deleting Qamat's Facebook page, comes within the framework of fighting the documentation of the experiences of the Palestinian struggle."
"Qamat" confirmed that this "also comes within the framework of the digital fight and annihilation of Palestinian struggle content and the attempt to silence the Palestinian voice, in contravention of the importance of Palestinian rights and self-determination digitally through the virtual or digital world."
It is noteworthy that the Qamat Foundation was launched about six years ago to produce content that documents important stages in the history of the Palestinian struggle, whether by shedding light on specific issues or struggling figures.
