Deputy Mayor of Nablus submits his resignation

Today, Monday, Deputy Mayor of Nablus, Khaled Salama, submitted his resignation from membership in the Municipal Council. This came after an attempt to hold him responsible for the death of two municipal workers due to a landslide two weeks ago.

Salama said: “There is actual negligence and concealment of the truth for many purposes and reasons in the incident of the death of workers Saeed Hani Kony and Ahmed Ghassan Handuma.”
