The leader of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, 52-year-old Ayman Mansour, and his son 31-year-old Attia Mansour, were killed in a crime-related shooting in the Jabalia area in the northern Gaza Strip.
A preliminary investigation found that the perpetrator, a 40-year-old man, killed himself after carrying out the shooting,
according to Iyad Al-Bozom, a spokesperson for the Interior Ministry in Gaza.
The security services and the police are continuing to investigate the incident.
