Media in Italy revealed, last night, the identity of the retired Israeli intelligence officer who drowned in an island lake in the north of the country.
According to those reports, as reported by the Hebrew website Ynet, the officer is Shimoni Erez (54 years old).
And according to the Hebrew site, his body was transferred last night to Tel Aviv, and it is likely that his photo was prevented from being published due to his security past.
