Late after midnight, the Israeli occupation authorities released the prisoner Osama Al-Sallal from the town of Bani Naim in Hebron, after he had spent 17 years in the occupation prisons.
The Captive Club said, "The occupation forces had re-arrested him upon his release, to prevent any kind of celebration of his freedom."
The club pointed out that the occupation authorities began this policy mainly against Jerusalemite prisoners during the past few years, and expanded its use to include prisoners from other regions.
