Gaza - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Association of Owners of Oil and Gas Companies in the Gaza Strip announced, on Tuesday, the suspension of protest measures for a week, regarding its refusal to receive quantities of Egyptian gas due to the decision to deduct 4 shekels from profit margins by the Ministry of Finance in the Strip.
According to a statement by the association, the suspension of this procedure came in order to open a channel of negotiation and dialogue with government agencies regarding a discount of 4 shekels for each gas cylinder of 12 kilos.
The Ministry of Finance denied that any new tax had been imposed.
