Child martyred and others injured by occupation bullets during Qalandia camp raid

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced this evening the martyrdom of 16-year-old child Walid Nidal Abu Snaineh, who succumbed to his critical injuries sustained by Israeli occupation forces' bullets. This occurred during a widespread military incursion carried out by Israeli forces into Qalandia camp, located north of occupied Jerusalem, where live bullets targeted the upper part of the child's body before he was transferred to the hospital in critical condition.

Medical and field sources reported that the incursion also resulted in two other children being injured by live bullets in their lower extremities, with their injuries described as moderate. Occupation forces spread throughout the camp's alleys and completely closed its main entrances, obstructing the movement of citizens and ambulances attempting to reach the injured amidst heavy gunfire and tear gas canisters.

In a related field development, local sources stated that a Palestinian girl was injured by live occupation bullets while near the 'Sikkal' intersection adjacent to the camp, and she was immediately transferred to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah. Sources confirmed that the girl's health condition was described as serious due to her direct injury, while Israeli forces continued to target passing vehicles in the area with bullets and sound bombs.

For its part, Palestinian Red Crescent Society crews confirmed that they dealt with another young man injured by live bullets in the thigh area during the violent confrontations that erupted inside the camp. The society clarified that its field crews provided the necessary first aid to the injured person before transferring him to the hospital for further treatment, noting the difficulty of field work amidst the continued heavy firing of tear gas canisters towards civilians.

The Israeli military operation extended to include the neighboring town of Kafr Aqab, where occupation vehicles stormed the town's neighborhoods and carried out raids that resulted in the arrest of three young men whose identities are not yet known. The incursion was interspersed with scattered confrontations during which soldiers fired a barrage of tear gas and sound bombs towards residential homes, causing suffocation cases among citizens without recording direct bullet injuries in that area.

Reports from Jerusalem Governorate indicate that occupation forces continued their military deployment around Qalandia camp until late hours, imposing a strict security cordon on the area. Despite no widespread house raids being recorded inside the camp itself, a state of extreme tension prevails in the area amidst the escalation of live bullet use by occupation soldiers directly against youths and children.
