Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa discussed with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen today, Sunday, the latest political developments and field developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, in the presence of Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Stefan Salama.
The Prime Minister affirmed during the meeting the sovereignty of the State of Palestine over the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, under one authority, law, weapon, and institutions, and that any transitional arrangements in the upcoming phase must consider joint coordination with the State of Palestine and its institutions.
Mustafa welcomed all international efforts to support relief, recovery, and reconstruction programs in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the reference to the Palestinian Arab plan for recovery and reconstruction and its executive programs, which enjoy the support and consensus of the international community.
The Prime Minister renewed his call for Denmark to recognize the State of Palestine, which contributes to achieving peace and stability in the region.
Any transitional arrangements must be coordinated with the State of Palestine and its institutions.
