Save the Children: The occupation kills a child every hour in Gaza

The organization Save the Children confirmed that the number of children who have been martyred in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 20,000 since the beginning of the aggression against the region nearly two years ago.

The organization reported that at least one child is killed every hour by the occupying forces, and that no less than 1,009 children have been martyred under the age of one.

It added that 450 children were born during the war and were martyred before they could grow up.

Earlier, UNICEF confirmed that the war in the Gaza Strip has caused immense losses for children, with at least 50,000 children either martyred or injured, while others face the threat of famine.

It added that more than half a million people in Gaza are trapped amid famine, continuing to be deprived of food, water, and medical assistance, noting that no child will emerge from the terror of bombardment without being affected by trauma.

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, revealed that nearly one million children in the Gaza Strip are deprived of education and are suffering from deep psychological crises, amid the ongoing siege and Israeli attacks.

Lazzarini stated in a previous post on the platform "X" that there are at least 17,000 unaccompanied children or those separated from their families.

On August 7th, the international human rights organization "Human Rights Watch" stated that Israeli attacks on schools in the Gaza Strip will contribute to disrupting education for many years, as repairing and rebuilding them will require significant resources and time, with serious negative repercussions for children, parents, and teachers.

Spain announces 9 immediate measures to stop the genocide in Gaza.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced today, Monday, that his country will take a series of measures aimed at stopping the genocide in Gaza, emphasizing that "everything we have done so far has not succeeded in alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people."

Sánchez stated in a televised speech from the government headquarters in Madrid that his government "has decided to take new steps and implement 9 additional immediate measures to put an end to the genocide in Gaza, pursue its perpetrators, and support the Palestinian people."

Among the most notable of these measures is the closure of Spanish ports to Israeli ships carrying military systems, and the closure of airspace to all aircraft carrying weapons or ammunition to Israel.

Sánchez clarified that his government will approve a bill to implement a complete arms embargo on Israel, and announced a ban on tankers supplying the Israeli army with fuel from docking at Spanish ports.

Sánchez stressed that what Israel is doing in Gaza is not self-defense "but the extermination of an unarmed people," asserting that it "bombs hospitals and kills people through starvation."

In order to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people, the Spanish Prime Minister announced that his government will increase humanitarian support for the residents of Gaza, and will increase its contribution to the funding of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) by 10 million euros.

Sánchez stated that these new measures aim "to stop the genocide in Gaza, pursue its perpetrators, and support the Palestinian people."

Since October 2023, Israel, with American support, has been waging a genocidal war against the residents of the Gaza Strip, which includes killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international calls to stop the war and orders from the International Court of Justice in this regard.

The genocide has resulted in more than 64,000 martyrs and 162,000 injured, with 393 Palestinians, including 140 children, dying as a result of starvation, according to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.

An American proposal to end the war in Gaza.. What's new about it?

U.S. President Donald Trump stated early this Monday that the Israelis have accepted the terms of his proposal regarding a potential prisoner exchange and ceasefire in Gaza, and it is now Hamas's turn to agree.

Trump spoke about the possibility of reaching an agreement soon that would end the war in Gaza based on one of the proposals, issuing what he described as "the last warning" to Hamas regarding the consequences of rejecting the new proposal.

One of the terms of the new proposal stipulates that Israel halt its military operation aimed at occupying the city of Gaza.

Axios news site reported that U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Wittekov sent a new proposal to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) last week, which appears to be the new offer revealed by Trump today.

The American site quoted two sources stating that the new proposal includes a comprehensive solution for the release of all prisoners in exchange for ending the war in Gaza.

Axios noted that the new proposal aims to find a diplomatic solution before the Israeli military operation to occupy the city of Gaza.

According to the official broadcasting authority and Channel 12 in Israel, the new American proposal includes fundamental changes compared to previous initiatives, including last month's proposal, and its terms are as follows: the release of all Israeli prisoners in Gaza, numbering 48, including 20 alive and the bodies of 28 deceased, on the first day of implementing the deal.

In return, hundreds of Palestinian prisoners with long sentences will be released, along with thousands of other detainees.

Halting the "Gideon 2" operation, which the Israeli army launched its initial phases at the beginning of September to fully occupy the city of Gaza.

Opening a new negotiation track personally managed by Trump to reach an agreement that completely ends the war.

Hamas stated last night that it received some ideas from the American side through intermediaries to reach an agreement for a ceasefire.

The movement added—in a statement—that it is ready to sit immediately at the negotiating table to discuss the release of all prisoners in exchange for a clear declaration to end the war, a complete withdrawal from the sector, and the formation of a committee to manage the sector by independent Palestinians that will commence its work immediately.

The movement conditioned in its statement a guarantee of Israel's public and explicit commitment to what will be agreed upon so that past experiences of reneging on agreements do not recur.

On the other hand, sources close to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he is seriously considering a proposal from the U.S. president to return all Israeli prisoners.

The previous proposal on August 18 included a new proposal from intermediaries to conclude an agreement for a prisoner exchange and ceasefire.

This proposal stipulated a two-month truce and a phased exchange of prisoners leading to negotiations for a final agreement to end the war.

Hamas agreed to the proposal, but Israel did not respond to it, effectively rejecting it by imposing conditions that included security control over Gaza and disarming Hamas.

At that time, the spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry, Majed Al-Ansari, stated that the proposal approved by Hamas includes a pathway to a permanent ceasefire.

According to sources, the proposal included the following: a 60-day truce during which negotiations would take place for a comprehensive end to the war.

During the ceasefire, the Israeli army will reposition itself to allow aid to enter the Gaza Strip.

The release of 8 living Israeli prisoners at the beginning of the truce.

Exchanging 10 living Israeli prisoners and 18 bodies for 1,700 Palestinian prisoners, including 45 serving life sentences and 15 with long sentences.

The release of two additional prisoners on the 50th day of the truce, and similarly, the bodies of the deceased Israelis will be gradually released.

Of the 1,700 Palestinian prisoners included in the proposed agreement, 1,500 are Gaza prisoners who were arrested by the occupation after October 7, 2023.

"Gaza Health": The toll of the Israeli massacre rises to 64,455 dead.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the toll of the ongoing Israeli genocide since October 7, 2023, has risen to 64,455 dead and 162,776 injured Palestinians.

This was reported in its daily statistical report on the number of Palestinian casualties due to the continued Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry stated: "87 dead (including 4 who were retrieved from under the rubble) and 409 injuries arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours."

It clarified that "the toll of dead and injuries since the (resumption of genocide on) March 18, 2025, until today, has reached 11,911 dead and 50,735 injuries."

It pointed out that "there are still a number of victims under the rubble and in the streets, where rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them until now."

The ministry confirmed that "the toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 64,455 dead and 162,776 injured since October 7, 2023."

It noted that hospitals in the sector recorded "5 new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number since October 7, 2023, to 387 deaths, including 138 children."

It mentioned that the toll of victims waiting for aid has risen since May 27 to 2,416 dead and 17,709 injured, after the killing of 31 Palestinians and the injury of 132 others in the past 24 hours.

Apart from the supervision of the United Nations and international relief organizations, Tel Aviv has initiated since May 27 a mechanism for distributing aid through what is known as the "Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation," which is supported by Israel and the United States but is rejected internationally.

The Israeli army has targeted those waiting for aid, resulting in thousands of casualties among them.

Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, preventing any food, medical supplies, or humanitarian aid, plunging the sector into famine despite the accumulation of relief trucks at its borders.

Israel sometimes allows a very limited amount of aid to enter, which does not meet the minimum needs of the starving and does not end the famine, especially as most trucks are subject to looting by gangs that the Gaza government claims are protected by Israel.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza that includes killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

In addition to the dead and injured, most of whom are children and women, the genocide has left more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons.

Settlers attack homes in Sinjel and the occupation storms camps in the West Bank.

The occupied West Bank witnessed a series of assaults and incursions today, Sunday, carried out by settlers and Israeli occupation forces, targeting Palestinian gatherings, towns, and camps in various areas, resulting in arrests and harassment of residents, while the systematic policy of settlement and displacement continues.

The Bader Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages reported that Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Auja Bedouin gathering north of Jericho in the morning, engaging in provocative acts that included filming and harassing citizens.

The organization confirmed that these practices, which occur almost daily, aim to create a state of fear and anxiety among residents and threaten the stability of their lives.

In Ramallah, settlers opened fire this afternoon towards homes and citizens in the town of Sinjil, during an attempt by residents to confront an assault in the Al-Mazra'a area north of the town, where settlers grazed their cattle around the homes and attacked one of them.

The gunfire resulted in damage to the windows of homes and vehicles, without any human injuries reported.

Local sources indicated that a force from the occupation army accompanied the settlers during the assault.

Earlier, settlers stormed the home of citizen Imad Maali in the village of Deir Debwan, attempting to open the doors of the house and the vehicle parked in front of it, in addition to vandalizing the surveillance camera installations.

In the evening, occupation forces stormed the Jalazone camp north of Ramallah, driving their vehicles through its streets, with no reports of injuries.

In Hebron Governorate, occupation forces raided the Al-Fawwar camp and arrested Sakhr Salmi and Hamza Walid Al-Tayti, as well as seizing a vehicle and closing the main entrance to the camp.

Additionally, occupation forces stormed the town of Qalandiya accompanied by Israeli crews, where they opened the gate of the separation wall in the eastern area and conducted a quick tour among the homes of citizens.

The occupation authorities also handed the released Jerusalemite prisoner Jamil Al-Abbasi a decision to extend his expulsion from Al-Aqsa Mosque for an additional 4 months, keeping the decision in effect until the beginning of next year.

Al-Abbasi had been summoned yesterday for an interrogation by the occupation's intelligence.

These assaults come amid a rise in settler attacks in the West Bank, where the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 431 assaults during August 2023, including armed attacks, land leveling operations, uprooting trees, and establishing 18 new settlement outposts, most of which are pastoral and agricultural.

In parallel with the ongoing genocide against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, the occupation has escalated its crimes in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, where its army and settlers killed 1,018 Palestinians and injured about 7,000 others, in addition to arresting more than 19,000 others, according to Palestinian data.

"Hamas" comments on reports of the comprehensive deal and the concession of resistance weapons.

The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas commented today, Sunday, on reports about a new proposal to reach an agreement that includes the release of all prisoners and the end of the war in the Gaza Strip, addressing the issue of resistance weapons, according to what Hebrew media reported.

Hamas political bureau member Bassem Naeem indicated that "our position is clear, and we are waiting for a response to the proposal from the mediators that the movement has already accepted," emphasizing at the same time that "Hamas is ready for a comprehensive deal that ends the war, ensures a complete withdrawal from Gaza, exchanges all Israeli prisoners, and opens crossings for aid and reconstruction."

Regarding the resistance weapons, Naeem said in a tweet on the "X" platform: "Resistance is a legitimate right of the Palestinian people, guaranteed by international legitimacy and history, and we will not concede it except by establishing a sovereign Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of return. Until then, the movement may consider a long-term truce."

He mentioned that "Hamas hopes that the statements and tweets of U.S. President Donald Trump will serve as a plan and roadmap to end the war and rebuild the sector, and not as a new cover for Netanyahu's fascist government to continue the genocide, as has happened in previous instances."

Earlier on Sunday, Hamas stated in a press release that a leadership delegation concluded a visit to Egypt amid the genocide war on the Gaza Strip and the escalation of Israeli aggression in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

The statement noted that the Hamas delegation was headed by Zahir Jabareen and included members Hussam Badran, Kamal Abu Aoun, Ghazi Hamad, and Mahmoud Mardawi, and met with Palestinian factions, civil society institutions, Palestinian figures, and businessmen in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with the aim of enhancing consultation, developing joint work, and drawing a national roadmap, alongside emphasizing that unity of position and field is the guarantee to end the war and strengthen resilience.

It pointed out that "the visit came in conjunction with the escalation of the occupation's crimes in the Gaza Strip and the increase in systematic policies of destruction and displacement, as part of the Zionist plans to reoccupy the city of Gaza and continue the genocide against the Palestinians."

It clarified that "the Palestinian factions agreed to sustain the search for ways to end the war and support the resilience of the people of the Gaza Strip, and to confront what is happening in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, alongside enhancing joint work to manage the battle and draw a national roadmap for after the war."

The Hebrew broadcasting authority reported that the United States, Qatar, and Egypt are set to present a new proposal this week to reach an agreement between Tel Aviv and Hamas, which includes the release of all prisoners, the end of the war, and the formation of a government in Gaza.

According to the authority, it is likely that the head of the negotiating team and a close associate of Netanyahu, Minister Ron Dermer, will arrive in the United States this week to consult with senior officials in the Trump administration.

This came following Hamas's confirmation on Saturday evening that it is "open to any idea or proposal that would achieve a comprehensive ceasefire, a complete withdrawal of occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, unconditional entry of humanitarian aid, and an exchange of prisoners through serious negotiations via mediators."

For his part, Israeli journalist and analyst at Channel 12, Barak Ravid, stated that White House envoy Steve Witkoff conveyed messages to Hamas through peace activist Gershon Baskin regarding a comprehensive deal for the release of all prisoners, both alive and dead, noting that the latter communicated with Hamas leader Ghazi Hamad, who was also in contact with him when he helped pass messages in the negotiations for the release of Gilad Shalit over a decade ago.

The proposal that Witkoff conveyed to Hamas through Baskin included several general principles, in addition to the release of all prisoners in exchange for ending the war.

Israeli Channel i24 revealed the main points included in the new proposal, which involve Hamas relinquishing its heavy weapons, such as tunnels and rockets, to be subject to Egyptian oversight, halting the recruitment of new fighters, stopping the development of military capabilities, and handing over full governance of Gaza to security.

Jordan and the UAE reject entrenching the occupation of Gaza and expanding settlement in the West Bank.

The King of Jordan, Abdullah II, and the UAE President, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, confirmed on Sunday their rejection of the occupation's plans to entrench the occupation of the Gaza Strip and expand settlement construction in the West Bank.

This came during discussions they held at the Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, as part of an official visit (the duration of which was not announced) that the King of Jordan began earlier on Sunday, according to a statement from the royal court.

In preparation for the annexation of the occupied West Bank, Israel has intensified its crimes in the West Bank since it began its genocide war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, including the demolition of homes, the displacement of Palestinian citizens, the confiscation of their lands, and the expansion and acceleration of settlement construction.

The annexation of the occupied West Bank by Israel would eliminate the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state, in implementation of the two-state solution principle (Palestinian and Israeli), as stipulated in resolutions issued by the United Nations.

The royal court stated that King Abdullah emphasized "Jordan's absolute rejection of any Israeli measures to annex the West Bank and displace Palestinians, and of any plans for Gaza's future that involve the displacement of its residents or separating it from the West Bank."

The two sides discussed "the most prominent regional developments and bilateral relations," and addressed "the depth of brotherly relations and the keenness to strengthen them and expand various aspects of cooperation and joint work," according to the statement.

King Abdullah and bin Zayed confirmed their "support for the rights of the Palestinian people, and the continued work at the international level to push towards achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution (Palestinian and Israeli), which is the only way to achieve stability in the region."

They stressed the "urgent need for an immediate halt to the war on Gaza and the continuous flow of aid by all means," according to the same source.

They expressed their "rejection of Israeli plans aimed at entrenching the occupation of Gaza and expanding military control over it."

The two leaders emphasized their "rejection of settlement expansion plans in the West Bank, which undermine the two-state solution and threaten security, stability, and opportunities for achieving peace."

Alongside the genocide war on Gaza, the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have killed at least 1,018 Palestinians and injured about 7,000 others, in addition to arresting more than 19,000, according to Palestinian data.

King Abdullah and bin Zayed also reiterated their "rejection of Israeli positions and statements that threaten the sovereignty of the countries in the region."

On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed in an interview with the Hebrew channel "Abu Ali Express" on the Telegram platform that "there are various plans for how to rebuild Gaza, but half of the population wants to leave Gaza," claiming that "this is not mass expulsion."

He continued with his claims: "I can open the Rafah crossing for them, but it will be immediately closed by Egypt," claiming that "the right to leave Gaza is a fundamental right for every Palestinian."

Palestinians assert their adherence to their land and reject plans for their displacement, amid warnings of American-Israeli moves to liquidate the Palestinian cause.

Israel has besieged the Gaza Strip for 18 years, and about 1.5 million Palestinians out of approximately 2.4 million in the strip are now homeless after the genocide war destroyed their homes.

With American support, Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

This genocide has resulted in 64,368 dead and 162,367 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has claimed the lives of 387 Palestinians, including 138 children.

For decades, Israel has occupied Palestine and lands in Syria and Lebanon, refusing to withdraw from them and to establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the borders prior to the 1967 war.

Sanctions on Palestinian human rights organizations expand Trump's battle against the International Criminal Court.

The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is expanding its campaign against the International Criminal Court (ICC) by imposing new sanctions on three Palestinian human rights organizations that requested the ICC to investigate Israel for genocide in Gaza. Analysts say these designations issued by Secretary of State Marco Rubio could hinder the court's efforts to gather evidence on Israel's conduct in its war against Hamas, according to an investigation by The Washington Post.

These designations, issued on Thursday, September 4, 2025, prohibit U.S. entities from dealing with the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, the Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights, and the Al-Haq organization. Foreign entities, such as banks or website providers, have been given a month to terminate their business transactions with these organizations, according to the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Rubio stated in a press release: "These entities have directly participated in the ICC's efforts to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute Israeli citizens without Israel's consent." We oppose the politicized agenda of the ICC, its overreach, and its disregard for the sovereignty of the United States and its allies.

In November, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity. (Arrest warrants were also issued for three Hamas leaders; all were killed by Israeli forces). Neither Israel nor the United States recognizes the court's jurisdiction.

Legal experts have warned that the sanctions threaten international norms and could undermine the United States' standing as a defender of human rights.

The newspaper attributed to Mohsen Farshneshani, the lead attorney at the Washington-based Center for Penal Law, his statement: "The sanctions are designed to hold perpetrators of crimes accountable or punish those acting against U.S. foreign policy and national security interests. They are not intended to silence those documenting human rights atrocities."

These designations were issued under emergency powers that President Donald Trump invoked in February when he accused the ICC of "unlawful and baseless actions targeting America and our close ally Israel." He stated that any effort to investigate "protected persons" or prosecute them, including Israeli officials, constitutes an "extraordinary threat" to U.S. national security.

Trump also used emergency powers to impose tariffs on imports, deport immigrants, and send the National Guard to U.S. cities, among other measures. This exploitation allows the president to temporarily bypass congressional scrutiny.

The administration has also imposed sanctions on the ICC's chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, his two deputies, six judges, and on Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories. Albanese described Israel's campaign in Gaza as genocide.

A former official in the U.S. sanctions office (who spoke to the newspaper on condition of anonymity) commented on this sensitive issue: "This is how we apply sanctions to warlords and drug traffickers." He added: "We want to hit the broader network so that the core of the network finds it difficult to operate. In this case, the core is the ICC." Attorney Brad Brooks-Rubin wrote in New Lines magazine last month: "Sanctions are like a punch in the face. Sometimes one punch is enough to change someone's course. But usually, it takes more than that." (Brooks-Rubin did not address the Trump administration's campaign against the ICC in his article.)

Analysts say that without the help of human rights groups in documenting war crimes, ICC investigators may struggle to meet the minimum evidence required to prosecute suspects.

Brad Parker, an attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights in New York, described last week's designations as "a cynical attempt to punish accountability advocates at the height of the genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian people with U.S. support."

Parker added that organizations led by Palestinians will now likely face difficulties in paying their staff or raising funds, and employees may face civil and criminal penalties. He said: "Everything is likely to come to a halt. It is a retaliatory attack aimed at creating an existential problem."

Analysts have warned that U.S. sanctions could burden the entire human rights sector, deterring organizations from working with Palestinian organizations or the court.

Emily Schaffer Omer Mann, an attorney and lecturer at American University, said: "It's a cascading reaction." "Once an organization is designated as a specially designated entity, any support—material,

Egypt renews its call for Israel to accept the proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Egypt renewed its call on Sunday for Israel to accept the proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza, emphasizing its firm rejection of the Israeli aggression against the enclave and the plans to displace Palestinians from their lands, as well as the crimes of genocide and starvation.

This was stated by Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti during a meeting with the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Palestinian Fatah Movement, Jibril Rajoub, in Cairo, according to a statement from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, which did not mention the duration of the visit.

The two sides discussed ways to rally international support for recognizing the Palestinian state, in addition to the expected outcomes of the international conference on implementing the two-state solution, which will be hosted in New York City on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings this month.

During the meeting, Abdel Atti stressed his country's firm rejection of the Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, the plans to displace Palestinians from their lands, and the crimes of genocide and the use of starvation as a weapon against the Palestinian people.

He emphasized the necessity for Israel to accept the ceasefire proposal put forth by mediators in Egypt and Qatar, which is based on the proposal of the U.S. Special Envoy for the Middle East (Steve Whitcomb).

Egypt, along with Qatar, sponsors indirect negotiations between Hamas and Israel regarding reaching an agreement for a prisoner exchange and ending the war on Gaza.

Hamas accepted, on August 18, a proposal for a ceasefire lasting up to 60 days, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to refrain from responding.

With U.S. support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, which includes killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

Israeli expert: The reinforcement of the occupation in the West Bank is happening practically without an official announcement.

The Israeli researcher and expert -Mikhail Milstein- head of the Palestinian Studies Forum at the Dian Center at Tel Aviv University, believes that the occupied West Bank is gradually moving towards reinforcing its occupation by de facto, without any official announcement.

He confirms that this development is driven by political plans led by the Israeli government, primarily by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, in addition to the weakness of the Palestinian Authority and the erosion of its governing capacity.

He points out that Smotrich has been working for years to push a plan aimed at "changing the DNA of the West Bank" and reaching a point of no return that prevents any possibility of separation between the two peoples.

Last week, a detailed executive plan was revealed that aligns with Smotrich's vision announced in 2017, which is based on "annexing" 82% of the West Bank's land, including Bethlehem and Qalqilya.

The article warns that reinforcing the occupation of the West Bank will have seismic repercussions on Israel's international standing, as it is expected to increase Tel Aviv's isolation and multiply external pressures.

Moreover, reinforcing the occupation of the West Bank will lead to escalating tensions with the Arab world: Egypt fears what it considers a "conspiracy" aimed at pushing the residents of Gaza towards Sinai.

Internally, Milstein believes that reinforcing the occupation of the West Bank will increase the fragility of the Israeli situation at a moment when the country is experiencing deep internal divisions.

The article goes on to state that the discussion of reinforcing the occupation of the West Bank highlights the blurred distinctions between the Likud party and the national religious stream.

Milstein sees that the United States, specifically President Donald Trump, was the only entity that succeeded in 2020 in curbing the momentum of reinforcing the occupation of the West Bank in exchange for the Abraham Accords.

Milstein concludes by emphasizing that the Israeli public must impose a deep national discussion about the future of the relationship with the Palestinians.

"Elbit Systems," the Israeli weapons manufacturer, is forced to close its factory in Britain.

The British newspaper The Guardian revealed that the Israeli weapons manufacturer "Elbit Systems" has closed its factory located in the British city of Bristol. The newspaper reported in an article published yesterday, Saturday, that it visited the company's factory site and found it abandoned, even though the lease for the site extends until 2029.

The factory has been the target of ongoing protest campaigns over the past months by the organization "Palestine Action," a UK-based group opposed to the war on Gaza. These protests included methods such as sit-ins, climbing rooftops, breaking windows, and spraying red paint on the building, in protest against Elbit's involvement in supplying the Israeli army with drones used in the aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Elbit's accounts in the UK showed that it incurred operational losses of about 5 million pounds (6.75 million dollars) during the past year. Elbit Systems is the largest Israeli manufacturer of drones, with revenues last year reaching about 7 billion dollars.

The closure of the factory is considered a moral blow to Elbit Systems, as it produced drones and electronic surveillance devices used in Israeli military operations. The closure also raises concerns about the company's potential to win a major defense contract worth 2 billion pounds with the British Ministry of Defense, which some politicians oppose due to the company's record in human rights.

Although Elbit Systems has not issued an official statement regarding the factory's closure, experts in the arms trade believe that this step could have a significant impact on the company's operations in the UK. On the other hand, the group "Palestine Action" describes this closure as an "important victory" in its ongoing campaign against companies involved in the arms industry.

Hamas reaffirms its support for a comprehensive deal as its delegation concludes a visit to Cairo.

Member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Bassem Naeem said today, Sunday, that the movement is still waiting for a response to the proposal presented by the mediators last month, which it agreed to.

Naeem added—in a statement via social media in response to a question about Hamas's position—that the movement is ready to conclude a comprehensive deal that ends the war, leads to a complete withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, the release of all Israeli prisoners, both living and deceased, in exchange for an agreed-upon number of Palestinian prisoners, and the opening of crossings to allow for the entry of aid and reconstruction.

He affirmed that there is no concession on resistance and its weapons, as it is a legitimate right guaranteed by international laws, except with the establishment of a Palestinian state, stating that until that is achieved, Hamas can engage in a long-term truce.

Commenting on the recent statements and tweets by U.S. President Donald Trump, Hamas leader Bassem Naeem expressed hope that it would be "a plan and a roadmap to end the war and not a new cover for Israel to continue the genocide as has happened in previous instances," as he put it.

Hamas confirmed yesterday its commitment to and adherence to the agreement it announced with Palestinian factions regarding the mediators' proposal for a ceasefire on August 18.

The movement also affirmed its openness to any ideas or proposals that achieve a permanent ceasefire, a complete withdrawal of occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, unconditional entry of aid, and a genuine exchange of prisoners through serious negotiations via mediators.

Meanwhile, Hamas stated today that a delegation from it concluded a visit to Egypt during which it discussed with Palestinian factions and figures a national roadmap, amid the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip and the aggression in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, according to a statement from the movement.

The movement added that the visit was part of efforts to end the Israeli genocide war on Gaza and to stop the escalation of aggression in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

Yesterday, Saturday, Israel Hayom reported that sources said talks between Hamas and the United States resumed in recent days after a break that lasted several weeks.

Israeli concern over the slow displacement of Gazans and a plan to attract thousands of media personnel and influencers.

The political and military arena in Israel is witnessing extensive debate and ongoing divisions regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to occupy the city of Gaza, alongside the rising protests and movements in world capitals in support of Gaza and condemnation of the massacres being committed against its residents.

According to a correspondent, the debate continues over the plan to occupy the city of Gaza and its feasibility, noting that Haaretz reported from military sources that "the Israeli General Staff is concerned about the slow displacement of the residents of Gaza City," with estimates indicating that less than 10% of them have left the city.

He clarifies that the issue of the displacement of Gaza City residents poses challenges and obstacles for the security and military establishment in Israel, stating that Haaretz estimates that half a million Palestinians are in Gaza City, making it difficult for the army to launch an attack on the city.

In the same context, it was revealed that there are those who doubt the effectiveness of "Gideon 2 vehicles," such as the head of operations at the Israeli General Staff, who told the army radio that he cannot guarantee that the operation will lead to a decisive victory over the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

A prominent member of the Likud party also told Yedioth Ahronoth that "Gideon 1 vehicles" failed, and that "Gideon 2 vehicles" are also destined to fail.

On the other hand, it is confirmed that international and European movements supporting the Gaza Strip in particular have a direct impact on Israel, to the extent that the government meeting being held today, Sunday, in a secret underground location will discuss the establishment of a special department for Israeli propaganda in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The mission of this department focuses on countering international narratives and positions, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will work to attract 5,000 media personnel, influencers, doctors, and others to visit the Gaza border area and northern Israel, in an attempt to convey an alternative narrative against international public opinion.

The correspondent noted that Israeli media is heavily focusing on the demonstrations organized in world capitals in support of Gaza and condemnation of the Israeli massacres against Palestinians, as well as following the issue of preventing Israelis from participating in festivals and arms exhibitions around the world.

Israeli media has also strongly highlighted the victory of the film "The Voice of Hind Rajab" in winning the Silver Lion at the 82nd Venice Film Festival.

He points out that international movements greatly disturb Israelis to the point that they are saying, "We are a leprous state that no one approaches," prompting large segments of Israelis to call for an end to the war on the Gaza Strip.

He notes that Haaretz highlighted a major headline yesterday, Saturday, stating that "Israel is going to occupy the city of Gaza but finds that Gaza is the one that has occupied it," due to the disintegration and international rejection of Israel and the economic repercussions of that.

Israeli military official: We do not commit to a decisive action against Hamas.

The Israeli army confirmed that it is preparing to enter the city of Gaza, without committing to a military resolution with Hamas, while Israel plans to change the name of Operation Gideon’s Chariots 2.

The army radio reported that the head of the operations division of the Israeli General Staff, Yisrael Shomer, stated that the Israeli army is preparing to enter the city of Gaza with full force, but he clarified that it cannot be guaranteed that the operation will lead to a final resolution with Hamas.

Shomer added that the army has prepared a plan that allows for a halt at any stage, as soon as a deal is reached with Hamas and it accepts Israel's conditions, according to him.

He pointed out that the ongoing military operations pave the way for the return of hostages from the sector, but they are not linked to a specific timeframe.

In this context, Yedioth Ahronoth reported, citing sources, that the Israeli government is working on changing the name of Operation Gideon’s Chariots 2, to market it as a new step in the war.

The newspaper added that military estimates indicate that Hamas still possesses and uses surveillance techniques despite nearly two years since the outbreak of the war.

It noted that the army hopes that the demolition of buildings in Gaza will push about a million Palestinians to flee south.

It also reported - citing sources - that the head of the Israeli General Staff, Eyal Zamir, explained to the political leadership that nothing guarantees the safety of the hostages in the city of Gaza during the operation, and that the army cannot assess how Hamas will deal with the prisoners in the coming months.

The newspaper indicates that sources in the army confirm that the goal of Operation Gideon’s Chariots 2 is not to resolve the issue with Hamas, but to strike its infrastructure in the city of Gaza.

For its part, Haaretz quoted military sources saying that the Israeli General Staff is concerned about the slow displacement of residents from the city of Gaza, as its estimates indicate that less than 10% of them have left the city.

Officers in the army told the newspaper that there is a critical issue regarding the readiness and preparedness of regular units to perform their tasks, as some have been in continuous combat for nearly two years.

Additionally, soldiers in combat units spoke - according to the newspaper - about severe fatigue and low morale in some units, along with rising disciplinary issues, as leaders find it difficult to enforce professional conduct among their members.

The newspaper pointed out that there is a severe shortage of usable bulldozers and engineering vehicles, in addition to restrictions on the readiness of troop carriers and tanks that are difficult to replace their engines.

Haaretz: A crisis of efficiency in the Israeli army threatens "Gideon 2 vehicles"

A new report has revealed that the Israeli occupation army is facing a critical problem regarding the efficiency and readiness of its regular units, amidst the intensification of the aggression on Gaza, dubbed Gideon 2 vehicles.

Some army units have been engaged in continuous battles since October 7, 2023, while suffering from a severe shortage of essential heavy equipment, such as bulldozers and military engineering vehicles.

The crisis is exacerbated by restrictions on replacing tank engines due to the German ban on arms exports to Israel.

The Israeli army has escalated its offensive movements over the weekend in Gaza City, preparing for an imminent ground operation, but its preparations remain hindered.

The slow displacement of Palestinians from the city is obstructing the army's plans, as less than 10% of its population has left according to estimates.

The army announced the opening of what it called a "humanitarian zone" in Khan Younis, but the slow pace of evacuation is met with an increase in the frequency of airstrikes.

The operational setbacks are accompanied by rising concerns about the Israeli prisoners held inside Gaza.

Intelligence agencies are aware of the impossibility of preventing harm to the prisoners amid the fighting, citing what happened in Rafah last year.

Concerns prevail within the occupation army after Hamas released a video showing two of the prisoners.

The regular units are facing a deep crisis in morale and discipline, with soldiers complaining of severe fatigue and a lack of leave.

Many brigade leaders are keen to submit optimistic reports that please the General Staff, instead of revealing the real deficiencies.

A severe shortage of heavy engineering equipment and a scarcity of serviceable vehicles make ground operations slower and more dangerous.

The Chief of Staff visits the Gaza Strip to monitor developments, but the gap between what field commanders report and what is actually happening remains wide.

Officers present soldiers' complaints as "suffering from homesickness" instead of seriously addressing their grievances.

Katz ignores the fact that all senior security officials reject the current operation in Gaza, believing that a prisoner deal should be promoted.

The military action in Gaza will not lead to a complete victory or the release of all prisoners, and the most likely scenario is a continuation of a slow attack.

100,000 expected injuries and disabilities in the occupying army by 2028

Estimates from the Israeli Ministry of Defense revealed that 100,000 injured soldiers will be dealt with by 2028, including about 50,000 with psychological injuries, while the occupying army intends to call up between 80,000 and 100,000 reservists to participate in its ongoing operation to occupy the city of Gaza.

The Hebrew newspaper "Israel Hayom" stated that: "The new statistics represent the fastest growth in the number of casualties in the history of Israeli wars," adding that Defense Minister "Israel Katz" and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced the establishment of "a joint public committee to expand the response to improve the care and rehabilitation of injured soldiers."

The newspaper clarified that this comes "against the backdrop of the increase in the number of casualties" in the "Iron Swords" war, where the committee will attempt to "enhance the comprehensive response to include rehabilitation processes, personal and community follow-up, psychological therapeutic support, and the integration of the injured into society and the labor market."

Gaza Schools.. Their doors are closed and their future is uncertain

For the third consecutive year, the Israeli war machine is depriving students in the Gaza Strip of their right to attend their schools and universities, insisting on enforcing a policy of ignorance and leaving them in the wind.

The situation is extremely tragic, as school and university students are denied their basic right to education due to the ongoing war and its repercussions, which have affected everything, with more than 95% of schools destroyed and 85% of university buildings rendered unfit, depriving around 700,000 students of their right to education.

The reasons for the deprivation of education include the widespread destruction of the infrastructure of schools, universities, and training centers, in addition to the displacement of tens of thousands of students with their families to areas not equipped for education multiple times, and the instability in any given area for a long period due to the intensification of the war, which has prevented students from continuing their educational journey.

Moreover, the remaining schools are being used as shelters for the displaced, along with power outages, weak and interrupted internet service, and the lack of books and educational materials and a prepared educational environment to receive students and enable teachers to work, in addition to the ongoing security risks that hinder the regularity of education.

A whole generation is threatened by ignorance, losing important school years for students in secondary and university stages, in addition to the decline in opportunities to enroll in universities or complete university specializations, which has serious psychological repercussions on children and youth due to feelings of deprivation and helplessness.

Attempts by some local initiatives to provide distance education or voluntary lessons inside the camps are limited due to the lack of internet and electricity and the limited enrollment of students as they are busy with their families in meeting daily life requirements for food and drink.

In February 2025, the academic year was announced to start through alternative schools and temporary educational points, in addition to education in the camps and some virtual classes, which thousands of students did not enroll in due to their instability in a specific location.

The Ministry of Education has put in place an emergency electronic plan to conduct the Tawjihi exams that began this week despite the weak electricity and internet, and the fact that a large number of students do not have smart devices, phones, or computers to take the exams.

Thousands of children are receiving temporary education in alternative places and shelters within the displacement areas.

Distance education has activated virtual educational platforms, supported by international entities, but student access is limited due to the lack of internet and electricity and the majority not owning devices that enable them to join the study.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) warned that "childhood cannot survive" in the city of Gaza, as the occupation prepares to occupy the city.

700,000 students in Gaza have been deprived of education for the third consecutive year, and more than 18,000 students have been martyred during the genocide war, as well as 4,500 university students who could not enroll in their universities after the destruction of all educational institutions.

Remote-Controlled Genocide: "Israel" Uses Explosive Robots to Destroy Gaza

The "Middle East Eye" website reported testimonies from residents of the Gaza Strip about how the Israeli occupation army has begun using new tactics and destruction methods during its war that has been ongoing since October 7, 2023.

Several residents of the strip told the site that massive explosions begin in the evening, with a rate of eight to ten explosions every night, turning buildings into crushed rubble, coinciding with Israel's announcement to expand its attacks on the city of Gaza, home to nearly two million people, after the government approved a complete occupation of the strip about a month ago.

Instead of deploying ground forces, the occupation army has been sending armored carriers filled with tons of explosives, which are stopped inside densely populated residential areas before being detonated remotely, causing massive destruction far greater than that caused by "F-16" fighter jet strikes.

The site added in its report that the Israeli occupation army has increasingly used explosive robots alongside aerial and ground attacks, with documentation of the use of at least 100 explosive robots in densely populated areas since August 13, according to the Gaza government media office, causing the destruction of about 300 housing units daily due to this deadly weapon, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor based in Geneva.

The monitor noted that these robots carry highly explosive materials, sometimes weighing up to 7 tons, and their attacks are concentrated in the northern, eastern, and southern areas of the city of Gaza, including Jabalia and Al-Zeitoun, as part of what has come to be called the "wiping the city off the map" operation.

The rights monitor added that based on the current rate of attacks, the rest of the city could be destroyed within two months, a timeline that could shorten further given the massive firepower of the Israeli army and the absence of any international pressure to stop its crimes against the Palestinians.

According to Hebrew reports, Israeli forces have tripled their use of explosive robots in recent weeks compared to previous periods, designed to maximize the destruction of infrastructure and minimize direct engagement with Hamas fighters, thereby reducing risks to Israeli soldiers during ground operations.

The "Middle East Eye" website stated that the violent explosions caused by these robots can be heard from about 100 kilometers away from the Gaza Strip, a measure of their immense intensity, and how the ground shakes to the extent that it terrifies many Palestinians, which is considered an Israeli strategy aimed at destruction and psychological warfare, to drive people out of the city as part of Israel's ongoing campaign for ethnic cleansing.

As of July, Israel has destroyed about 78 percent of all buildings in the Gaza Strip, according to preliminary analysis by the United Nations, which estimates that around 282,904 housing units have been damaged.

An analysis of satellite images conducted by Adi Ben Nun from the Geographic Information Systems Center at the Hebrew University showed that at least 36,000 buildings in the city of Gaza have been destroyed due to the ongoing Israeli war for nearly 23 months, equivalent to 80 percent of the total buildings that existed.

With American support, the occupying state has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 64,368 martyrs and 162,367 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 382 Palestinians, including 135 children.

Chairman of the Break the Siege Committee to "Arab21": The Resilience Fleet is the largest movement against the Gaza blockade since the "Mavi Marm

Zaher Birawi, the head of the International Committee to Break the Siege on Gaza and a member of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, confirmed that the ongoing 'Resilience Flotilla' represents the largest maritime attempt to break the siege on Gaza since the 'Mavi Marmara' events in 2010, emphasizing that free peoples have now taken on the responsibility of confronting the ongoing genocide in the sector amid the failure and silence of Arab and international officials.

Birawi said in a special interview: 'We are placing this movement in its correct context... Gaza is experiencing genocide, bombardment, killing, and displacement, while the regimes are either complicit with the occupation or incapable of confronting it. Therefore, Gaza has no one left but the peoples who are moving by all possible means, from demonstrations and popular events to attempts to break the maritime siege.'

Birawi explained that their plan for 2025 relies on launching successive ships to exert pressure on the occupation, starting with the 'Al-Dhamir' ship last May from Libya, which was subjected to Israeli bombardment off the coast of Malta. This was followed by the 'Madeleine' ship last June with the participation of prominent figures such as Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg and Brazilian activist Thiago Avila, before being detained by Israeli occupation forces.

Global newspapers: Gazans are tired of displacement and their support phenomenon extends to the world of music.

The Israeli attack on the city of Gaza and its repercussions have dominated the interests of global newspapers and websites. A report in the American New York Times indicates that "the intensification of military operations in the city threatens to turn the humanitarian situation into an unprecedented disaster."

Meanwhile, the American Wall Street Journal states, "The phenomenon of supporting Palestinians extends to the world of music."

The New York Times report says, "Field data indicates that hundreds of thousands of civilians are trapped between evacuation orders and airstrikes that do not spare even safe areas."

It adds, "In light of the complete destruction of infrastructure and shortages of food and medicine, the warnings from the United Nations and the Red Cross reflect a clear reality: there is no room for any safe mass displacement, but rather an exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis."

For its part, the French newspaper Le Monde addressed the intensification of the Israeli attack on the city of Gaza, stating that about 70,000 Palestinians fled the city within a week, but those who remained have nowhere to go in a sector where almost all its residents are facing forced displacement.

The newspaper quotes a resident of Gaza City saying, "I have previously suffered the humiliation of displacement, and now my family and I prefer to die in our homes."

The British Guardian reported that more than 7,000 children under the age of five received acute malnutrition recovery programs in clinics run by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the Gaza Strip during just two weeks last month.

According to the newspaper, UNICEF is currently working to compile the total cases for August, which is expected to exceed 15,000 new patients, more than seven times the total number in February.

In Israeli newspapers, Maariv writer Shmuel Rosner stated that "the pro-Israel lobby in Washington has not lost its tools or effectiveness, but it faces a changing American political environment."

He adds that support for Israel in the past was a guaranteed gain with no cost, but today it has become a risky option with the rise of youthful and progressive currents that clearly oppose it.

The writer concludes that "Israel is no longer a consensus issue; it has become a controversial topic that divides American public opinion."

He states, "Jerry Nadler - a seasoned Jewish congressman - ends his career with a cautious stance on arming Israel."

In the same context, the American Wall Street Journal notes that the phenomenon of supporting Palestinians extends to the world of music, as Gaza has become an event that occupies the world of artists, and the war on the besieged sector and the increasing humanitarian losses on the ground create a new situation for artists who have lost fans and gained others due to their sympathy for Gaza.

The newspaper continued that as the war in Gaza approaches its second year, the debate surrounding it has taken center stage in the music scene, with more artists waving Palestinian flags, chanting slogans, or accusing Israel of genocide, while those who remain silent face increasing pressure to choose a side.

"Gaza Health": 5 deaths due to famine in the sector in the past 24 hours

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday the registration of 5 new deaths in the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, including 3 children, bringing the total number of malnutrition-related deaths to 387 martyrs, including 138 children.

The ministry clarified that since the announcement of the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), 109 deaths have been recorded due to hunger and malnutrition, including 23 children.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that these figures reflect the worsening humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, amid the ongoing blockade and shortages of food and medicine, threatening the lives of thousands of civilians, especially children, women, and the elderly.
