Hamas: The Doha attack is a crime and an assassination of the entire negotiation process.

The Hamas movement considered, on Thursday, that the occupation's attack on its leaders in the Qatari capital, Doha, was a "complete crime," stating that it "was not just an assassination attempt on the delegation, but a bombing and assassination of the entire negotiation process."

This came during a press conference held by movement leader Fawzi Barhoum, commenting on an attack carried out by Israel on a residential location in Doha for leaders of "Hamas" on Tuesday, which resulted in the survival of the negotiating delegation, the death of the head of the delegation's son, Khalil al-Hayya, his office manager Jihad Labed, and three companions, in addition to a Qatari security personnel.

In the press conference, Barhoum said: "This crime was not just an assassination attempt on the delegation, but it is a bombing and assassination of the entire negotiation process, and a deliberate targeting of the role of the brother mediators in Qatar and Egypt."

He explained that the attack "is a blatant confirmation from (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu and his criminal gang of their rejection to reach any agreement, and their insistence on thwarting all regional and international efforts aimed at stopping the genocide and starvation and ending the war against our people in Gaza."

He emphasized that the attack "clearly proves that Netanyahu and his extremist government bear full responsibility for the failure and disruption of all previous negotiation stations."

Members of an American anti-Islam motorcycle gang are managing aid distribution sites in Gaza.

  1. A BBC investigation revealed that the company guarding aid distribution sites in Gaza, by the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF)," employs members of an American motorcycle gang with a history of hostility towards Islam to manage its armed security.

BBC News confirmed the identities of 10 members of a far-right extremist group that calls itself the "Infidels" motorcycle club, who are working in Gaza for UG Solutions, a private contracting company providing security at GHF's sites, where hundreds of civilians searching for food have been killed amid scenes of chaos and gunfire.

The network revealed the identities of seven gang members holding senior positions overseeing the controversial Israel-supported relief operations backed by U.S. President Donald Trump.

For its part, UG Solutions defended its employees' qualifications for the job, stating that it does not exclude individuals based on "personal hobbies or affiliations unrelated to job performance," while the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) claimed it "adopts a zero-tolerance policy for any biases or hateful or discriminatory behaviors."

It is noted that the "Infidels" motorcycle club was founded in 2006 by American veterans of the Iraq War, and its members consider themselves modern-day crusaders, using the crusader cross as their symbol - referring to Christians in the Middle Ages who fought Muslims for control of Jerusalem.

The gang currently spreads anti-Muslim hate speech on its Facebook page and previously held a pig roast "defying" the holy month of Ramadan.

Edward Ahmed Mitchell, deputy director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a leading civil rights organization in the U.S., stated: "Hiring the 'Infidels' motorcycle club to deliver humanitarian aid in Gaza is akin to hiring the racist Ku Klux Klan to deliver humanitarian aid in Sudan. This is utterly nonsensical."

It is noted that the gang's leader, Johnny "Taz" Mulford, a former U.S. Army sergeant, was punished for conspiracy to commit bribery and theft and for making false statements to military authorities. He is now the "team leader" managing UG Solutions' contract in Gaza.

BBC stated: "We emailed Infidels MC for comment. In response, Mulford asked his fellow motorcycle gang leaders not to reply, but he inadvertently included the BBC channel when he clicked 'reply all,' revealing the email addresses and names of other Infidels MC members, some of whom had worked in Gaza."

By matching names with public information about the leadership of Infidels MC and evidence from informed sources at UG Solutions who worked with them, we identified 10 members of Infidels MC recruited by Mr. Mulford to work with him in Gaza. In addition to Mulford, the network identified three leading members of the "Infidels" motorcycle gang who also hold leadership positions in UGS operations in Gaza: Larry "J-Rod" Garrett, publicly known as the vice president of the "Infidels" gang, responsible for logistics; the gang's national treasurer, Bill "Saint" Seby, who leads the security team for one of GHF's four "secure distribution sites." One of the founding members of the gang, Richard "A-Tracker" Lofton, is a team leader at another distribution site.

The network in its investigation states: "Confidential documents, open-source information, and former contractors with UGS enabled us to confirm the identities of six other motorcycle riders from the 'Infidels' gang assigned to work in Gaza. Three of them are leaders or deputy leaders of the armed security teams for the company."

UGS informed the BBC that it conducts thorough background checks on individuals and only hires individuals whose identities have been verified. However, news reports indicate that Garrett was arrested two years ago in the U.S. for driving under the influence, and he had previously been charged with driving under the influence about a decade ago. It is unknown whether either case resulted in a conviction.

Jameson Giuffoni, founder and CEO of UG Solutions, was also arrested earlier this year in North Carolina on suspicion of involvement in a hit-and-run incident and for fleeing from police to avoid arrest, according to court documents. Mr. Giuffoni, who resides in the U.S., is not a member of the Infidels MC.

So far, Mulford has been the only contractor with UG Solutions identified as

The occupation suffocates the West Bank with more gates and barriers.

About a year ago, the occupying army closed the main access point to the town of Idna in the southern West Bank, which connects it to the city of Hebron and the north. To this day, it continues to close the access point and shuts down every alternative dirt road that residents create to manage their daily lives.

The main entrance, closed with an iron gate, is a lifeline for the village's residents, estimated to number around 30,000. Its closure has dealt a blow to the city's economy, in addition to the loss of many lives due to delays in providing medical assistance and transporting them to hospitals in Hebron.

Coinciding with the launch of the genocide against Gaza on October 7, 2023, the occupation intensified its measures in the West Bank, deploying hundreds of checkpoints and iron gates, and this week further tightened its grip, according to Palestinian official sources.

Jaber Al-Tamizi, the mayor of Idna, says that the distance between the town and the city of Hebron to the east, via Route 35 north of the city, used to take no more than 10 minutes, but today it takes more than an hour.

He added that the repercussions of the closure manifested in human losses, citing the case of the former mayor, Jamal Al-Tamizi, a few weeks ago, who could not be transported to the hospital by ambulance, and could have reached in time if the road had been open.

The mayor points out that many residents of the town primarily rely on scrap recycling operations, and the impact of the closure has resulted in a buildup of raw materials and the inability to dispose of them except to a minimal extent.

Notably, this week, the Israeli occupying army intensified its siege imposed on Palestinian villages and cities in the West Bank by deploying more iron gates and locks.

These measures coincided with threats from Defense Minister Yoav Gallant following the Jerusalem operation last Monday, stating that there would be severe and long-term consequences for the West Bank as a result of this operation.

According to documentation from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupying army closed all entrances to the city of Jerusalem and the surrounding villages and towns in the last three days, imposing strict measures on the entrances to the city of Ramallah.

The occupying authorities expanded the deployment of iron gates, which are yellow gates with one or two arms and can reach a length of 20 meters, and are locked with locks for which soldiers hold the keys.

The European Parliament adopts a resolution on the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The European Parliament adopted a resolution regarding the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, expressing its deep concern over the spread of famine and the lack of food, water, and medicine.

The resolution called on the occupying state to fully and safely open all crossings for aid and to ensure the protection of civilians and those working in medical and relief fields.

It emphasized the necessity of reaching an immediate and permanent ceasefire, along with resuming funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which is a lifeline for millions of Palestinians.

The Parliament affirmed in its text that Gaza is at the breaking point, and that the European Union has a key role in addressing famine and advancing the political process towards a two-state solution, as the only way to resolve the Palestinian issue.

A spokesperson for UNRWA "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" reinforces the famine and the situation has surpassed disaster.

The situation in the Gaza Strip has surpassed the stage of disaster, as confirmed by Tamara Al-Rifai, the Director of External Relations and Media at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), who stated that the chaos in aid distribution has played a significant role in expanding the famine among the population.

The agency can reach those in need quickly and easily based on its infrastructure and information, with the help of up to 15,000 of its staff who are still working in the sector, according to Al-Rifai in an interview.

However, Israel continues its attempts to entrench chaos and deepen the crisis through what is known as the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," which provides aid through 400 points across the sector, compared to the 400,000 points that UNRWA operated through.

Earlier today, sources reported the agency's Commissioner-General stating that the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" is run by gangs, some of which are hostile to Muslims, and that more than 2,000 desperate hungry people have died while seeking food.

Despite the difficulties imposed by Israel on the ground, 15,000 UNRWA staff continue to provide health and educational services even in displacement tents that are being bombed.

These staff members, according to the spokesperson, convey the reality on the ground, which confirms the expansion of famine from the northern sector to the central areas.

Israel deliberately mistreats humanitarian institutions, especially UNRWA, which is considered the largest actor and witness to everything happening in Gaza.

This unknown and unrecognized institution, as described by Al-Rifai, is intended to replace all international and UN institutions that have extensive experience in health and education in Gaza.

UNRWA schools are overcrowded with displaced persons amid the inability to find and rent a place or buy a tent, and there must be safe and permanent access.

UNRWA also has lists of all the affected and vulnerable individuals, including those who have lost their breadwinner or have children with special needs in Gaza.

Lazareini confirmed today that addressing famine requires safe, continuous, and widespread access for those in need anywhere.

The humanitarian working group in the occupied Palestinian territories, which includes UN agencies and more than 200 international and local NGOs, expressed its grave concern over the serious escalation in the city of Gaza.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health in the sector announced the martyrdom of 7 due to hunger, raising the number of those who have died from malnutrition to 411, including 142 children.

Official spokesperson for "Arabi21": The Fleet of Resilience has departed from Tunisia towards Gaza.

The official spokesperson for the Global Fleet of Resilience to Break the Siege on Gaza, Wael Nawar, confirmed the official launch and movement of the fleet on Thursday, except for some ships that are waiting for certain documents, which will also set sail subsequently on Thursday.

Nawar revealed in a special call that the fleet set off early on Thursday, and the departure will continue in the territorial waters for 24 to 48 hours until the storm passes, after which we will head to international waters.

He clarified that the Italian fleet will also depart today, and will be waiting for us in international waters, noting that the reason for not announcing the departure publicly is our inability to operate under pressure with thousands at the port.

For his part, member of the Maghreb Resilience Fleet, Nabil Al-Shanoufi, confirmed the official movement of 16 Spanish ships on Thursday, out of a total of 36 ships in the fleet, with the rest set to move subsequently upon completing the procedures.

Thousands of Tunisians gathered at the port amid intense media coverage to bid farewell to the fleet, but due to difficult weather conditions, a decision was made to delay until Thursday morning.

Al-Shanoufi stated that the main reason for the delay is the change in weather conditions due to rain and winds, and we will set out with about 36 ships, including two or three that are not fully ready to depart, which may join later, with the number of participants ranging between 500 and 700 participants.

He confirmed that the number of boats will increase after meeting with the Italian and Greek boats, and we have been informed that the Egyptian state has allowed an Egyptian ship to depart and granted it a permit.

The war on Gaza.. and the massacre of peace

With the genocide and massacres of the Israeli occupation in Gaza, which have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of more than 100,000 Palestinians in the sector since October 7, 2023, Israel has effectively nullified all international treaties and dismissed all peace solutions, including the two-state solution, which was supposed to provide some stability in the region.

The current war has not merely been a military aggression; it has represented a strategic turning point, as the occupation has surpassed all humanitarian and diplomatic norms, and the idea of "just peace" has receded in favor of the logic of power and the complete negation of the other.

In effect, the war has practically annulled international treaties and laws, constituting a blatant violation of the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law, through the use of starvation as a weapon of war, which is completely prohibited (Fourth Geneva Convention, Article 54 of the Additional Protocol I), in addition to targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure (hospitals, schools, refugee camps), and refusing to implement the International Court of Justice's (2024) decisions that called for an end to the genocide.

The American "veto" has been repeatedly used to obstruct ceasefire resolutions or to protect civilians. The talk of establishing a Palestinian state is no longer practically applicable after the widespread destruction of infrastructure in Gaza and the unprecedented settlement expansion in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

As for the statements of Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, they have become public in rejecting the establishment of any independent Palestinian state, while the American administration, despite its public statements supporting the two-state solution, has not provided any practical mechanism for its implementation or imposed a timeline, and all regional and international initiatives, foremost among them the Arab Peace Initiative (2002), have also been excluded.

All these assaults, massacres, and destruction were gambled on by the occupation in hopes that the Palestinian people would abandon their rights, but displacement and forced migration do not in any way mean that the displaced Palestinian people will relinquish their rights. Experience has proven, over a century, the determination of the Palestinian people to continue their struggle and demand their rights.

Despite more than 77 years since the Nakba of the Palestinian people, and the successive waves of displacement, the latest of which is what is happening in Gaza since 2023, Palestinians have never relinquished their right to return, nor have they abandoned their demand for their legitimate rights.

Historical experience has shown that displacement, war, and siege have not and will not extinguish the Palestinian collective consciousness, and that the Palestinian refugee—wherever they are—has remained a bearer of their cause politically, culturally, and popularly, while attempts to assimilate into host societies have failed to end their national identity.

The diaspora and liberation movements have not been a state of stagnation or absence for the Palestinian diaspora; rather, it has been an active part of the Palestinian national project, even leading in crucial stages.

Despite displacement, refuge, and long suffering, the Palestinian diaspora has not been a burden on its cause; rather, it has been at the forefront of the national liberation movement, participating in shaping the contours of the struggle, and framing it intellectually and politically, making immense sacrifices for the dream of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The diaspora has not shied away from sacrifice, having provided tens of thousands of martyrs among Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, while Palestinian cultural, media, and political creativity in exile has been a central tool in preserving the national narrative in the face of attempts at erasure and distortion.

History has proven that liberation movements, no matter how long they last and how great their sacrifices, ultimately prevail; peoples do not die, and rights are not erased by force, and collective will imposes itself, even if after a while.

The Palestinian struggle is no exception; rather, it is an extension of the experiences of free peoples who faced colonialism and tyranny with bare chests and unwavering resolve.

The Vietnamese revolution, which broke the might of the American empire, and the Algerian revolution, which expelled French occupation after 132 years of colonization, both affirm that victory belongs to the peoples, not to the occupier.

If Vietnam, Algeria, and others have triumphed, then Palestine—with its rich history, the justice of its cause, and the depth of its people's belonging—will not be an exception. Those who fight for their land, dignity, and rights cannot be defeated, even if conspired against by both near and far.

One cannot ignore the international solidarity movement that the current war has sparked, which is difficult for the occupation to bypass.

The horrific crimes have led to an unprecedented

16 dead since dawn and a series of intense airstrikes shake the city of Gaza.

Sources in Gaza hospitals reported the death of 13 Palestinians due to the fire of the occupation forces since dawn today, Thursday, including 11 in the city of Gaza. A series of violent attacks have been launched since dawn, focusing on the city of Gaza, which they seek to occupy and displace Palestinians from.

Palestinians held a funeral this morning for the bodies of martyrs from the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the city, while a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital stated that two Palestinians were martyred, one of whom was a child, and others were injured as a result of targeting a tent sheltering displaced persons from the Abu Harbid family in the Yarmouk area in the center of Gaza City.

Several Palestinians were also injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted the home of the Al-Shawa family near the Al-Shuhada intersection in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in the center of Gaza City.

The Israeli warplanes launched a series of violent airstrikes on the tunnel street extending from the center of Gaza City towards its northeastern areas, coinciding with intense artillery shelling that hit areas east of the Sheikh Radwan pool, in addition to the dropping of illumination bombs over most parts of the city.

In the central Gaza Strip, a Palestinian child was martyred due to the Israeli army's random gunfire on citizens' homes in the Al-Bureij camp.

In the city of Deir al-Balah, several Palestinians were injured due to targeting by an Israeli drone on a house next to Khadija Al-Bassa School.

In this context, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the registration of 5 deaths due to famine and malnutrition, including a child, in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of malnutrition deaths to 404 martyrs, including 141 children.

Human rights concerns have been expressed by the humanitarian working group in the occupied Palestinian territories - which includes UN agencies and more than 200 international and local NGOs - regarding the serious escalation in the city of Gaza. They stated in a statement that the Israeli army has intensified its operations and ordered everyone to evacuate southward.

The humanitarian team added that despite Israel declaring a "humanitarian zone" in the south, it has not provided safety guarantees or sufficient services to accommodate the displaced.

They confirmed that nearly one million people are now without safe or viable options, as neither the north nor the south of the Gaza Strip offers safety, as stated in the team's statement.

The statement noted that leaving northern Gaza means incurring exorbitant transportation costs and securing safe passage, amounts that most families cannot afford.

It clarified that leaving northern Gaza means continuing the suffering in securing food, water, medical care, and shelter, at a time when the exhausted residents of Gaza have reached the limits of their capacities.

The humanitarian team warned in its statement that amid the ongoing Israeli obstacles, the current level of humanitarian response in Gaza remains entirely insufficient.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with U.S. support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in 64,656 dead and 163,503 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and famine that has claimed the lives of 404 Palestinians, including 141 children.

The Knesset approves an additional 9 billion dollars to fund the Gaza war.

The Israeli Knesset (parliament) approved in the first reading a bill to add approximately 31 billion shekels (more than 9 billion dollars) to fund war expenses.

The Hebrew economic site Calcalist reported: The Knesset approved in the first reading last night, Wednesday, an additional amount of 30.8 billion shekels (9.23 billion dollars) primarily allocated for security needs.

42 Knesset members (out of 120) voted in favor of the bill, while 37 opposed it, but for it to become law, it must be voted on in three readings according to Israeli law.

The vote took place in a special session of the Knesset's general assembly during its summer recess as part of a political deal between the government and the two Haredi parties (religious) that withdrew from the government last July, protesting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's (wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes) failure to fulfill his promise to enact a law exempting Haredim from military service.

While the deal stipulated that the United Torah Judaism party (7 seats in the Knesset) would abstain from voting, the Shas party (11 seats) would vote in favor of the bill, according to the same source.

Deal with the extremists As part of the deal, the parliamentary finance committee will approve today, Thursday, the transfer of 80 million shekels (24 million dollars) to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth stated that the vote on increasing the defense budget came after unexpected expenses due to the ongoing war, with a particular focus on the war with Iran (June 13-24), and extensive military purchases made by the Israeli army, without further details.

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Knesset also approved in the first reading a bill to increase the deficit to 5.2%, which was supported by 48 members against 40 who opposed it, meaning that the actual deficit rate will jump from 4.9% to 5.2%.

In March, the Knesset approved Israel's budget for 2025, which amounted to about 619 billion shekels (185.55 billion dollars), with a deficit ceiling of 4.9%, while the security budget was about 110 billion shekels (33 billion dollars).

Disputes had recently erupted between the Israeli finance and defense ministries over the issue of adding to the budget, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

The Israeli security establishment demanded an increase of 60 billion shekels (18 billion dollars), claiming that the Gideon Vehicles operation in Gaza and the war on Iran had not been allocated budgets, and that the funds were necessary for replenishing stocks and also for urgent purchases, ranging from Arrow missiles that were about to run out to hundreds of armored vehicles specifically for soldiers in the sector.

At the beginning of September, Channel 12 revealed a confidential internal document from the Israeli army acknowledging the failure of the Gideon Vehicles operation in the Gaza Strip (from May 16 to August 6, 2025) to achieve its declared objectives, primarily defeating the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and securing the release of prisoners.

The Israeli army announced on September 3, after more than three weeks of intensive bombing of the Gaza Strip, the launch of Operation Gideon Vehicles 2 to fully occupy the city of Gaza, which sparked criticism and protests in Israel, fearing for the lives of prisoners and soldiers.

On September 2, the Hebrew broadcasting authority stated that the cost of Operation Gideon Vehicles 2 ranges between 6 billion and 7.5 billion dollars, according to estimates.

With the support of the United States, Israel is committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop it.

This genocide has resulted in the martyrdom of 64,656 Palestinians, the injury of about 164,000, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has claimed the lives of 404 Palestinians, including 141 children.

Mother of two Israeli captives: The attack on Qatar undermines the exchange negotiations.

The mother of two Israeli captives said on Thursday that the Israeli attack on Qatar on Tuesday undermines negotiations for a prisoner exchange between Tel Aviv and Hamas.

Sylvia Conio, the mother of the two captives held in Gaza, Ariel and David, expressed her "concern about the Israeli attack in Qatar" in a conversation with the "Wynet" website affiliated with the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

She added, "Every step hinders us; this is not the right time (for the attack); this jeopardizes the negotiations. Every time they ruin them (referring to Israeli government ministers)."

She continued, "We cannot continue this way; we want them (the Israeli captives in Gaza) home now; there is no other way."

The families of the Israeli captives are calling for an agreement to bring the captives back from Gaza, which the government of Benjamin Netanyahu refuses.

On Tuesday evening, the Israeli army launched an airstrike on the leadership of Hamas in Doha, resulting in the deaths of six people.

Qatar condemned the Israeli attack and affirmed its right to respond to the aggression that killed a member of the internal security forces.

Meanwhile, Hamas announced that its negotiating delegation, led by its head in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, survived an assassination attempt, while the director of his office, Jihad Labed, and his son, Hamam al-Hayya, along with three companions: Abdullah Abdul Wahid, Moamen Hassouna, and Ahmad al-Mamlouk, were killed.

On Tuesday, before the attack on Qatar, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar claimed that Tel Aviv is seeking to end the war in Gaza based on a proposal from U.S. President Donald Trump and the principles set by the security cabinet "the Cabinet."

The Cabinet had set five conditions for ending the war: the disarmament of Hamas, the return of both living and deceased captives, the demilitarization of Gaza, Israel's security control over it, and the establishment of a civilian administration that does not follow Hamas or the Palestinian Authority.

On Sunday, Trump, an ally of Israel, spoke about a new proposal presented to Hamas regarding ending the war in Gaza.

According to Israeli Channel 12, Trump's plan stipulates the return of all Israeli captives at once and the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails.

It also includes halting the plan to occupy the city of Gaza and entering negotiations to end the war and withdraw the Israeli army, with a guarantee from Trump that Israel will not return to war as long as negotiations are ongoing.

For its part, Hamas announced on Sunday that it received ideas from the United States through intermediaries to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, affirming its welcome of any move that helps end the war that has been ongoing for nearly two years.

Repeatedly, Hamas has announced its readiness to conclude a comprehensive deal with Tel Aviv to release all Israeli captives in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and to end the war and withdraw from the Gaza Strip, but Netanyahu has rejected it and insisted on partial proposals that allow him to procrastinate and impose new conditions at every negotiation stage.

Tel Aviv estimates that there are 48 Israeli captives in Gaza, of whom 20 are alive, while more than 11,100 Palestinians are imprisoned in its jails, suffering from torture, starvation, and medical neglect, with many having died, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights and media reports.

With U.S. support, Israel is committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

This genocide has resulted in 64,656 dead and 163,503 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and famine that has killed 404 Palestinians, including 141 children.

A Reading on the Israeli Aggression Against Qatar and the Lessons to Be Learned

On Tuesday afternoon, Israeli aircraft launched a targeted airstrike on the headquarters of the Hamas negotiating delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha. Statements released immediately from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes, and from Security Minister Israel Katz, indicated that the target was the Hamas leadership, specifically those Israel described as opponents of the deal: Khalil al-Hayya, Zahir Jabareen, Nizar Awadallah, Muhammad Darwish, Ghazi Hamad, Khaled Mashal, and Izzat al-Rishq, names mentioned in a report by the Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth."

The aggression against Qatar has caused a sharp diplomatic shock regarding the Israeli genocide in Gaza. The most important question is whether Israel's move closes the door on ceasefire talks or opens opportunities to change the current dynamics with the aim of ending Israel's horrific war. The Israeli attack came while Hamas negotiators were deliberating on U.S. President Donald Trump's 100-word proposal, under which the movement would release all hostages (alive and dead) in exchange for a large number of Palestinian prisoners, a temporary ceasefire for sixty days, and the continuation of negotiations to reach a permanent agreement to end the war.

Reports vary regarding the extent of U.S. involvement in planning the strike, or at least its knowledge of it from the very first moment, given that U.S. warplanes and radars control the skies of the region. However, the diplomatic repercussions escalated quickly. In Washington, the Trump administration sought to contain the damage immediately by communicating with Qatari leaders, publicly questioning the "wisdom of the Israeli operation," and reaffirming the importance of America's relationship with the Gulf state. The potential reaction from "America's Arab allies," noting that the United States has no allies in the region, only followers (including Israel, which is considered the most valuable follower), also reinforces the international impression that Israel is a rogue state, violating all international laws with American protection.

It is worth mentioning that although Washington and Doha are still living in the aftermath of President Trump's visit to Qatar last May, which resulted in bilateral agreements valued at approximately $1.2 trillion (and Qatar's precious gift to Trump; a Boeing 747 worth $400 million), the reality indicates that Qatar has faced two military attacks since then, primarily due to American actions. On June 23, Iran responded to U.S. military strikes against its nuclear program (on June 21) by launching missiles at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest U.S. military facility in the Middle East and the main center for U.S. air operations in the region. Although the Iranian attack dispelled Doha's worst fears regarding its partnership with the United States, the successful defensive cooperation that was evident in intercepting missiles and avoiding casualties alleviated Qatari concerns.

However, it is almost certain that the Israeli strike will undermine Doha's confidence in its relationship with America, especially since it occurred amid U.S.-backed ceasefire negotiations, of which Washington was informed in advance, and targeted residential buildings located next to a school and a gas station. Theoretically, Qatar, which financed the construction of Al Udeid base with $11 billion, could ask Washington to close its base and remove its 10,000 soldiers from there, which could serve as a catalyst for closing U.S. military bases in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, etc. But the reality suggests that this possibility is slim, as long as the United States uses the Iranian bogeyman to extort these countries.

Qatar's relations with other Gulf Cooperation Council member states have long been characterized by tension, especially after Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain severed diplomatic and trade relations with Doha between 2017 and 2021. However, the Israeli strike on Doha prompted most Gulf capitals to express their shared anger through seemingly synchronized public statements, especially since the attack appears to have been carried out with prior knowledge from the United States, Qatar's closest supporter. (It is noted that in recent years, Qatar has continued to allow Hamas to maintain a local political presence at Washington's request to facilitate communication with the movement, and the Doha strike may lead Gulf officials to question the usefulness of these understandings with Washington).

The military cooperation of Gulf Cooperation Council states with the United States may also be affected, especially if the Gulf states conclude that U.S. assets at Al Udeid Air Base (which the U.S. used in its aggression against Iraq and Syria) facilitated the attack or deliberately overlooked it, while the U.S. Central Command has used the joint command center at the base decisively to defend Israel

WHO intends to remain in Gaza City and warns of a health disaster.

The World Health Organization announced its confirmation to remain in the city of Gaza, despite the call issued by the Israeli occupation authorities for the city's residents to leave for the south of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The organization clarified, through a statement published on its account on the social media platform "X," that it and its partners are still in the heart of the city of Gaza, while expressing its discontent with the evacuation orders issued by the Israeli occupation forces.

In the same context, the World Health Organization reported that what is referred to as the "humanitarian area" designated by the Israeli occupation state in the south of the besieged Gaza Strip lacks the volume and scope of services necessary to support those present there, let alone the new arrivals.

According to the organization, nearly half of the hospitals still operating in the Gaza Strip are located in the city.

It also warned that: "The health system in the sector cannot bear the loss of any of these remaining facilities."

The organization added, through the same source, "Although the recent evacuation orders did not include hospitals yet, previous realities show how quickly they become incapacitated when fighting obstructs patient access, prevents ambulances from reaching them, and disrupts the resupply of the World Health Organization and its partners."

The Israeli occupation army had called, on Tuesday, for all residents of Gaza to leave immediately to the south of the sector, warning that it would launch a violent attack on the city; while the United Nations states that: "About one million people live in the city of Gaza and its surroundings."

For days, the occupation army has begun a gradual campaign of destruction of high residential buildings in the city of Gaza, increasing the number of displaced families and pushing them into harsh displacement conditions, while observers warn that the goal is to forcibly push Palestinians to migrate south, as part of a broader Israeli-American plan to displace them outside the sector.

On Monday as well, the Israeli occupation army minister, Yoav Gallant, threatened to bomb more high residential buildings in the city of Gaza and destroy the sector and the "Hamas" movement unless the prisoners are released and weapons are surrendered.

On the same day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu boasted of his army's destruction of 50 residential buildings in the city of Gaza within two days, threatening to demolish more and proceed with the displacement plans, stating: "This is just the beginning and a prelude to the main operation."

With American support, the Israeli occupation state has been conducting a campaign of genocide against the entire besieged Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in 64,605 martyrs and 163,319 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and a famine that claimed the lives of 404 Palestinians, including 141 children.

The occupation army reveals details of its operations in Gaza and announces an increase in the pace of airstrikes in the coming days.

The Israeli occupation army announced the start of the next phase of Operation "Gideon's Chariots 2," which includes carrying out extensive airstrikes on the infrastructure of Hamas in the city of Gaza.

According to a statement issued by the occupation army, the air force has completed three waves of strikes based on intelligence information, targeting more than 360 sites using dozens of warplanes.

The statement clarified that the occupation forces began since last Friday to target high-rise buildings that "have been converted into centers for terrorist infrastructure," including observation points, command centers, sniper sites, and weapon storage facilities.

The occupation claimed that these buildings posed a direct threat to its forces.

The first wave of strikes focused on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, where it was claimed that observation sites and operational tunnels belonging to the Al-Tuffah battalion were targeted, in addition to an interrogation facility belonging to Hamas.

The second and third waves included the Al-Tuffah and Al-Furqan areas, targeting underground gathering points that were used to plan for "terrorist activities," in addition to a factory for producing "RPG" and mortar shells, and a weapons storage site.

The occupation army confirmed that it has taken "extensive measures" to minimize potential harm to civilians before carrying out the strikes.

The statement indicated that the Israeli occupation will increase the frequency of targeted airstrikes in the coming days, with the aim of "dismantling the infrastructure of Hamas, reducing its operational readiness, and decreasing the threat to the occupation forces in preparation for the next phases of the operation."

China strongly condemns the attack that occurred yesterday in Doha, Qatar, and firmly opposes Israel's violation of Qatar's territorial integrity and national security.

China Arab Television: On September 9, Israel attacked the Qatari capital, Doha. The attack targeted Hamas leadership. What is China's response?

Lin Jian: China strongly condemns the attack that occurred yesterday in Doha, Qatar, and firmly opposes Israel's violation of Qatar's territorial integrity and national security. We are deeply concerned that this attack will lead to further escalation in the region, and we condemn the actions taken by the parties involved that deliberately jeopardize the ceasefire talks in Gaza. The use of force will not achieve peace in the Middle East. Dialogue and negotiation are the fundamental ways out of this impasse. It will soon be two years since the outbreak of the conflict in Gaza. China strongly urges the parties involved, especially Israel, to make efforts to end the fighting and resume talks, rather than the opposite.

Global Times: Reports indicate that Israel informed the United States of its airstrikes against Hamas in Doha, Qatar, prior to the attack. What is China's comment?

Lin Jian: We are deeply concerned about the related reports. The Israeli airstrike on Hamas targets in Doha seriously violated Qatar's territorial sovereignty and national security and will lead to an escalation of tensions in the region. This is closely related to the differing positions of some non-regional countries regarding the Middle East issue. We urge these major countries to work for regional peace and stability, take a fair and responsible stance, and work with the international community to play a constructive role in stopping the conflict and easing tensions.

Palestinian Authority arrests Samir Halila in Ramallah.. Allegedly nominated to be the "Governor of Gaza"

Palestinian media reported that forces affiliated with the Palestinian Authority arrested businessman Samir Halila, who claimed to be a candidate to become the governor of Gaza after the end of the occupation's aggression.

It was noted that Halila was inside a restaurant in the city of Ramallah at the moment it was raided by the Preventive Security Service of the Authority, and he was taken to an unknown location.

Halila stated that his nomination to be the "governor of Gaza" after the war in the sector came from the White House, not from Tel Aviv, and he confirmed that he is ready for the task.

He pointed out that he was chosen because the candidate for this position must be independent, technical, have experience in governance, and be accepted in society.

In an interview with the Israeli channel "i24" that broadcasts in Arabic, Halila revealed that his name was discussed with Egypt and Jordan, expecting that Washington would also discuss the issue with the Palestinian Authority, "Israel," "Hamas," and other concerned parties.

Regarding the Palestinian Authority, he said: "When I received the offer, I immediately informed the Palestinian Authority."

Halila believed that Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar should be ready to finance the reconstruction process with a value of fifty-three billion dollars over five years.

Alongside an international Arab force to oversee security during the transitional phase until the Palestinian police take over the security file in the sector.

Samir Halila said: "I am not part of the Palestinian Authority now. I played a role in the Authority 30 years ago; now I come from the private sector as an economist, and I do not represent the Palestinian Authority."

In a related context, a source in the Palestinian presidency called on businessman Halila "to stop spreading lies," referring to his statements about efforts to appoint him as the governor of the Gaza Strip, within a vision related to what is known as the "day after" the war.

The official Palestinian news agency "Wafa" quoted a responsible source in the presidency (who was not named) as saying that "the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Palestinian state, and its administration is the responsibility of the Palestinian National Authority and the Palestinian government, and no one else."

The source emphasized the rejection of any attempts to separate the sector from the West Bank within what he described as "the Israeli project."

The source condemned Halila's statements, which he considered "a circumvention of the official position of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority," demanding that he "stop spreading lies and covering up his disgraceful position that puts him under the responsibility."

Economist: Israel's raid on Doha is a gamble that expands the war and shocks the Gulf.

The Israeli occupation's raid targeting a villa in Doha where Hamas leaders were meeting has ignited a wave of anger in the Gulf, and it is considered a violation of red lines that could expand the scope of the Gaza war and complicate the occupation's relations with the United States and countries in the region.

The Economist commented in its editorial on the Israeli occupation's attempt to target Hamas's political leadership in Qatar, describing it as a gamble that escalated the war in Gaza and shocked Gulf nations.

The magazine noted that since October 7, the occupation has targeted Hamas leaders across the Middle East, assassinating its members in Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, Syria, and Iran, but refrained from targeting the leadership in Qatar, a small U.S. ally that plays an important role in ceasefire negotiations between the movement and the occupation.

The Saudi Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, stated that "the land of Gaza is Palestinian and the rights of its people are firm, not to be taken away by aggression nor negated by threats, and our position is steadfast in protecting rights and working diligently to prevent their violations."

He affirmed in the annual royal speech he delivered today, Wednesday, on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, at the opening of the second year of the ninth session of the Shura Council, that "the Arab Peace Initiative launched by the Kingdom in 2002, which we have activated internationally through the perspective of a two-state solution, today represents an unprecedented path to achieving the Palestinian state."

He continued: "While we thank all regional and international partners for their effective humanitarian contributions, we reiterate our call for other countries to participate in this phase."

The Saudi Crown Prince condemned "the continued brutal attacks on the brotherly Palestinian people in Gaza and the ongoing crimes of starvation and forced displacement."

He said: "Our internal achievements go hand in hand with our efforts to achieve security and stability in the region. We reject and condemn the assaults of the Israeli occupation authority in the region, the latest of which is the brutal aggression against the brotherly State of Qatar, which requires Arab, Islamic, and international action to confront this aggression and to take international measures to stop the occupation authority and deter it from its criminal practices that destabilize the security and stability of the region."

Casualties and injuries in new Israeli attacks on Yemen

Media outlets affiliated with the Yemeni Houthi group reported on Wednesday that Israel launched attacks on the capital, Sana'a, and Al-Jawf governorate (northeast), resulting in casualties and damage to civilian homes.

The Houthi-affiliated channel "Al-Masirah" reported casualties and injuries "and damage to several homes due to the Israeli aggression on Sana'a," without specifying a number.

It added that "the Israeli aggression also targeted civilian facilities in Al-Jawf governorate, including the central bank and the government complex."

For his part, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree stated that the group's air defenses launched "a number of surface-to-air missiles while responding to the Zionist aggression against our country."

He added in a post on the American platform "X": "Some combat formations were forced to leave before carrying out their aggression, thwarting the majority of the attack."

Meanwhile, the "Al-Masirah" channel quoted the head of the Houthi Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, as saying that "the response is inevitable to the Israeli aggression."

In contrast, the Israeli army stated in a written statement, a copy of which was sent: "Fighter jets targeted military objectives of the Houthi regime in Sana'a and Al-Jawf."

It claimed that among the targets were: "Camps where military elements of the Houthi regime were observed, in addition to the headquarters of the Houthi military media and a fuel storage site used for military activities."

It alleged that "these airstrikes came in light of the repeated attacks carried out by the Houthi regime against the occupying state, which include launching drones and surface-to-surface missiles towards Israel."

For his part, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated in a statement: "We promised more strikes, and today we are preparing for another painful blow to the Houthi organization in Yemen."

He added: "The Israeli army is attacking military camps run by Houthi elements, including the Houthi propaganda apparatus, in Sana'a and other locations across Yemen, as part of Operation 'Sounding the Bells'."

On Tuesday, the Houthi group announced the execution of "successful" military operations targeting "sensitive and vital" objectives in Eilat, Ramon Airport, and occupied Jerusalem.

On the same day, the Israeli army announced the detection of a missile launched from Yemen and its interception following alerts activated in Jerusalem (central) and settlements by the Dead Sea (southeast).

On August 28, Israel assassinated the head of the Houthi government (not internationally recognized), Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, along with several ministers due to a bombing in the capital, Sana'a.

The Houthis attack Israel with missiles and drones, targeting ships associated with it or heading towards it, claiming that their attacks are in response to the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Israel, with American support, is committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in 64,656 dead and 163,503 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and famine that claimed the lives of 404 Palestinians, including 141 children.

"Not leaving".. The people of Gaza City insist on staying and refuse to evacuate.

The Israeli occupation army has intensified pressure on the residents of Gaza City and the displaced people who have moved there from the northern Gaza Strip, forcing them to leave southward towards the Mawasi area west of Khan Younis under the pretext that it is a 'safe humanitarian zone.' The occupation army is using various means of killing, destruction, and psychological intimidation to drive more than a million Palestinians out of the city, who in turn are resisting its attempts to move from one place to another within its neighborhoods in rejection of the displacement plan.

The residents of Gaza insist on not repeating the experience of displacement that they endured for more than a year when the Israeli army initially asked them to head south at the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip, only to be followed by killings there, before being allowed to return after the ceasefire agreement last January. The pressures are mounting, and the Israeli army has been implementing its announced plan to occupy Gaza City for weeks, despite taking actual steps to empty the eastern neighborhoods of the city and the northern Gaza governorate since April 11.

Al Jazeera Net has monitored the most prominent means used by the occupation army since mid-August to accelerate the pace of population displacement, which include: expanding its ground operation south of Gaza City and advancing towards the neighborhoods of Al-Zeitoun and Al-Sabra, rapidly destroying their buildings. Re-advancing towards the town of Jabalia and Al-Nazla, the last residential areas in the northern Gaza governorate, and intensifying airstrikes on them, as well as using explosive robots to destroy their buildings.
