Israeli army uproots 70 olive trees in Haris

Today, Sunday, Israeli bulldozers uprooted 70 old olive trees from the lands of the village of Haris, west of Salfit.

Citizen Nasser Daoud reported that the bulldozers uprooted and cut down approximately 70 long-lived olive trees belonging to the heirs of Fawaz Daoud, whose ages ranged between 100-120 years, planted on an area of 20 dunums in the “Al-Safra” area adjacent to the “Refafa” settlement.

Daoud pointed out that Israeli forces prevented them from entering the land to pick olives several days ago, noting that the area has been subjected to repeated attacks by settlers and Israeli armed forces for some time, including acts of sabotage, demolition of stone chains, and attacks on the owners of the land.
