An Israeli media plan to regain support after the “destruction of Gaza.” and recruiting international stars.
In an emergency step, the Israeli government decided to organize an additional “massive media campaign,” after it appeared that there was a shift in international public opinion from support, at the beginning of the war, to “rejection and protest” against the bombing and destruction against the people of Gaza, and the rise in international demands to stop this war and conduct inspections. About political means to settle the conflict.
The government decided to “double financial resources to finance the campaign, publish videotapes documenting the operations carried out by Hamas members and others against Israeli civilians, and recruit figures with global stardom who will convince the world that the war Israel is waging is a defensive war in which it responds to a (terrorist organization) that wants to destroy” The Jewish state) and undermine stability in Western countries.
On October 7, Israel gained support in wide circles around the world when it published some tapes showing armed Palestinian youth attacking 22 settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip, killing “soldiers and civilians,” and attacking a concert.
But the situation began to change with the Israeli response by declaring war, and although the Israelis declared “a war to annihilate (Hamas) and topple its rule,” another picture emerged in which it seemed that the war was directed against the civilian population of Gaza.
Due to the spread of pictures of the victims in Gaza on various social media platforms, and the spread of stories of the killing of hundreds of Palestinian families, the bombing of hospitals, and the deportation with the force of tons of explosives of more than a million Palestinians, global anger at the Israeli measures increased, which coincided with an international and regional condemnation of “starvation and thirst.” Cutting off water, medicine and food for civilians.
Hundreds of demonstrations took place in various countries of the world demanding an end to the war and its crimes. In countries such as the United States, Britain, and Spain, many Jews came out declaring their rejection of these practices, saying that they refuse Israel to wage such a war in the name of the Jews, and chanting, “Not in our name.”
With Western governments and the American administration openly supporting the Israeli government in this war, large masses of them began demanding that their governments stop providing support to the Israeli war machine. They demand a distinction between the practices of Hamas and the Palestinian people, who are subjected to one of the most horrific wars of destruction since World War II.
It has become clear that international sympathy for the tragedy witnessed by Israel is rapidly running out. The Western public, its media and many politicians are shocked by the scenes coming from Gaza. They go out with protest campaigns. These campaigns are beginning to influence governments, some of which are demanding that Israel stop. But Benjamin Netanyahu's government, instead of realizing this change and responding to the demands of public opinion, intends to continue the war and declare another media war against Hamas in the world.
However, even in Israel, they draw the government's attention to the fact that Hamas is not accepted in the world at all, and has become a pariah in Western countries and a number of countries around the world, and its performance cannot be compared to the performance of any other country. The devastating results of the war and the Israeli plans that indicate colonial intentions to empty Gaza of its people and turn them all into refugees, wipe out all its homes, schools, mosques and churches from the face of the earth, and establish Israeli tourism and settlement projects, return public opinion to a position that rejects the crime.
