Updated: Attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank
Today, Thursday, settlers attacked citizens and their property in the West Bank.
In Hebron, a group of armed settlers attacked a house in Masafer Yatta, south of the city, and destroyed its contents.
According to local sources, a group of armed settlers, protected by Israeli occupation soldiers, attacked his house in the Shaab al-Butm area in Masafer Yatta, and forced his family of nine members, including children and women, to leave the house, before smashing the windows and doors and destroying the furniture in it.
It explained that these attacks aim to pressure and intimidate citizens, and force them to leave their lands and homes and leave those areas, noting that this is the third attack against his family in less than a week.
It confirmed that during the past week, settlers destroyed water tanks, contaminated wells, and uprooted irrigated seedlings, in addition to physical assaults, beatings, and death threats.
In the northern Jordan Valley, settlers attacked the citizen Thaer Abu Rayhan near the “Ru’iya” settlement and destroyed his vehicle, while he was able to survive and escape from them.
In Tulkum, dozens of settlers gathered at the Beit Leed intersection, and spread out on the main Nablus-Tulkarm road, under the protection of the occupation forces. They carried out orgies in the area and attacked citizens’ property, before setting fire to olive trees in the Ramin Plain and the lands of Beit Leed.
