Three Palestinian injured prisoners transferred to "Ramla Prison Clinic"
The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority announced today, Thursday, that the number of sick prisoners hospitalized in Ramla Prison has recently increased, after the transfer of 3 prisoners wounded by bullets from Israeli occupation soldiers.
According to the Authority’s statement, the detainee, Dawoud Abu Attiya, from the town of Al-Issawiya/Jerusalem Governorate, suffered several severe injuries to the hand and thigh area, and is unable to move his body due to the pain.
Meanwhile, the detainee, Ward Abu Shirin, from Jenin Governorate, suffered from two bullet wounds in the right foot below the knee. Skin was taken from his left foot to cover the wound on the right foot. Today, the prisoner moves in a wheelchair.
As for the detainee, Nasser Abayat, from the Bethlehem Governorate, he suffers from an injury to the abdomen and an injury to his right foot, and he is now moving around in a wheelchair.
The authority indicated that there are currently 14 prisoners in Ramla Prison Hospital, suffering from chronic diseases and difficult health conditions, and in need of constant care in light of the overcrowding of sick prisoners and the hospital’s lack of the minimum medical requirements and needs, and the deliberate practice of medical neglect and the use of prisoners as a testing field for many.
