Israel imposes military siege on Palestinian town Jalboun, east of Jenin
On Wednesday morning, the occupation forces imposed a siege on the Palestinian village of Jalboun, east of Jenin, closed all its entrances and prevented its residents from entering and leaving.
Town Council President Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub told Al-Quds.com that the occupation patrols raided the village early for the third time in the past two days since the Merav settlement came under fire from the resistance.
He stated that the occupation raided and searched homes located on the eastern side of the settlement, then closed the side entrances with dirt barriers, set up military barriers at the main entrances, and paralyzed the lives and movement of the citizens, preventing them from leaving the village.
The occupation forces deployed inside the village, which led to the closure of schools, which was denounced by Abu Al-Rub, who called on institutions and the international community to stop the attacks and assaults on the people of his targeted village, which has a population of 3,500 people.
Yesterday, the occupation established a fixed point on the roof of one of the houses and its third floor, and strengthened its measures with the resistance repeatedly targeting the settlements near Jalboun, especially Merav.
