The seventh side is in Jenin camp

I read the novel The Seventh Side by the prisoner sentenced to nine life sentences, Kamil Abu Hanish, while I was following the barbaric Zionist storming of the Jenin camp, which began at dawn on 3/7/2023, and I saw blood, martyrs, displacement, destruction, and death that fills the sidewalks. I found in the text of the novel a prophecy and a third eye, which is the eye of the miracle. Otherwise, how would Jenin withstand the madness of the Zionist bombardment, had it not been for its seventh side? They plant their bones in the entrances as explosive devices.

In Jenin, death does not happen all at once. A lot of death is a lot of life, which is the bewilderment of the colonialists who were unable to occupy Jenin through many stages of wars, invasions and incursions, not because it possesses missiles, tanks, planes and navy fleets. There is a seventh invisible side in the camp, the key to an old house. wide gates.

People in Jenin are fighting with simple capabilities, but their dreams are heavy. They do not fragment under the hail of bombs and organized terrorism. They do not melt into massacres and fire, as the leaders of Tel Aviv think. Jenin is the heart of a country that does not extinguish, and a city inhabited by a thousand cities.

The prisoner Kamil Abu Hanish writes about the seventh dimension in the rebellious man, where time sets out in its forward line to overcome the four dimensions in prison, and destroys its architectural and perceptual architecture, so that it rises with its time to its human and civilized beauty, enormous feelings that are not shackled by chains, emotions that transcend all times, Exceeding the limited quantity, as if he is building his promised paradise like a garden suspended among the stars, digging with imagination, then building with imagination, not recognizing physical theories, making the universe its radial space swimming in its parts without limit, playing the strings of the coming life.

In Jenin, the Zionist monster is embodied, so that the city enters its seventh side, the other alternative for survival and steadfastness. This is how the first Intifada did in 1987. It made its seventh side by inventing the stone and the sling as a weapon of resistance after the Palestine Liberation Organization was besieged and the conspiracies wrung out to nullify the independent Palestinian decision and ambiguous projects, and so on The second intifada began in 2000 from its seventh side, after negotiations failed and reached a road that only leads to a settlement or to prison, death, submission and surrender. Thus, the prisoners rebelled against their life sentences and the policy of humiliation by entering the gate of the seventh side with strikes and confrontations, so they established a revolutionary authority against the authority of the jailer.

There is always a choice in front of a person, says Kamil Abu Hanish, so the gasp becomes a cry, not a suppression of breath, and a drop of water becomes a river and does not dry up in dryness. This being inherent in the human soul, which makes the impossible reality not impossible, it is the realistic embodiment of the bleeding of the imagination.

When all dimensions close around you, neither the politician has a key to break the circle, nor the international community is able to move international law and lead you into the space of justice and legal rights, and your life then becomes like dissolving and fading into the darkness, or pieces in a bomb explosion, your dreams trampled on the chains of tanks, your life All of them are funerals and calamities. There must be a seventh side that is outside the customary of the six sides, outside the familiar language in this bloody conflict, and I think that the Jenin camp is the only one that came out from its seventh side and turned the tables.

The prisoner Kamil Abu Hanish, who is wedged into opposite corners, does not fear prison and walls, but rather fears the sword of time that grinds him into himself and defines his movement, gestures, feelings, level of vigilance, and the limits of his thoughts. Let us invent the seventh direction and the seventh time after life and after death, and transcend the wires implanted as a fait accompli imposed by the conditions of strength and rotation in the spiral void, and we only have to release love from within us to the outside, for the heart is not restricted by anything, and let us save ourselves from fragmentation and disorientation, to be one. Not two, one flag, not ten flags, one homeland that is not torn apart by interests and cantons, then the savage invaders will not reach the Jenin camp and the villages of Hawara and Turmusaya, setting fires, committing massacres and spreading destruction.

The seventh side does not ask you to suffice with denunciation, denunciation, distress, wailing, and inventing grandiose vocabulary as compensation for inaction and a cure for loss. The seventh side is a new narrative, an engine and a revolution, moving forward, employing all vital energies in battle, creativity in death more than creativity in life, resistance Doctrine, vision, and actions that do not need medals. Resistance means liberation from the obsession with death and fear. It resists erasure and extermination. It cannot be swallowed up by an entity, identity, and culture. Resistance means breaking the text and invoking writing, sound, thunder, and cloud. Resistance means being inside the Jenin camp now and tomorrow. Until the Day of Resurrection, the resistance is to live in prison for twenty years, or fifty years and still resist oppression and injustice with a weapon that the jailers do not understand, which is the will.

Let us go to the seventh side, as long as this siege intensifies and suffocates us in gatherings and isolation and among the many barriers of death, the desecration of our homes and our blood daily, massacre after massacre, and let us learn from Camille Abu Hanish and Walid Daqqa how to confront them with their dreams, memories and imaginations of iron and cement, and break through closed doors, reconstruct reality And planting trees, the past makes the leaven of the present, and the present is Jenin, Jerusalem and Nablus, a novel that looks out from the seventh side like prayer or demonstration to the busy life.

How strong is memory when it revives people, martyrs and places, summons the mother and beloved, friends and martyrs, continues the journey of writing and shooting in sound, image and song, and how beautiful it is to sleep in a dream, when it takes you home free and master of all your chapters and your many destinations.

Camille Abu Hanish says: "Death on the seventh side becomes a completely normal matter, a gate similar to the gate of love and the human dream. In that side, the trio of love, dream and death, the trio of human being, continues its journey in search of the meaning of life."
