Netanyahu agrees with Ben Gvir again at the expense of the Palestinians
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reached an agreement with his ally in the extremist government, Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, to allocate new funding to the Negev and Galilee Ministry, which works to Judaize the two regions.
According to the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, Netanyahu and Ben Gvir agreed that an amount of 250 million shekels would be allocated to the ministry, which the far-right Jewish Power Party is responsible for.
The newspaper pointed out that the extremist Ben Gvir was demanding 800 million shekels for the benefit of the ministry, but he agreed last night, after a meeting that lasted about 3 hours, to allocate 250 million shekels from the surpluses of the budgets of the various ministries.
Ben Gvir's party will meet this morning to approve this step, which will allow them to return to vote with the government coalition in the Israeli Knesset, after they recently boycotted the sessions in protest of the new budget.
