The Israeli government allocates huge budgets for the Judaization of Jerusalem

The Israeli government allocated huge budgets for the Judaization of occupied Jerusalem and the promotion of settlements, in cooperation with the Ministry of Jerusalem, and this came in conjunction with the so-called "Jerusalem Unification Day", as the budgets are expected to be approved during the weekly cabinet session, today, Sunday.

The huge budgets were allocated during the weekly session of the Israeli government, which is apparently being held inside the tunnels of Al-Buraq Square in Jerusalem for the second time after the 2017 meeting, according to what was reported by the Israel Hayom newspaper today, Sunday.

According to the newspaper, the government session this week aims to monitor budgets, as well as to approve a large number of Judaization projects in Jerusalem on the fifty-sixth anniversary of the city's occupation.

The meeting included approving the allocation of a huge budget for the development of the so-called "Holy Basin" project, which is considered the largest tampering and forgery in the Arab-Palestinian Islamic history in the city of Jerusalem.

The Judaization "Holy Basin" project comes within a five-year plan from 2023 to 2027, to develop settlement and Judaization projects, in cooperation with the occupation municipality in Jerusalem.

The government's plan includes a budget of 95 million shekels, which will be allocated to attract new Jewish immigrants and persuade them to settle and live in Jerusalem, by granting them gifts and special privileges.

According to the plan, which was prepared in cooperation with the Jerusalem municipality and with the assistance of the Jewish Agency, the Israeli government will work to encourage young immigrants (18-35 years old, unmarried and married) to settle in Jerusalem.

According to the data published by the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, more than 18,000 new immigrants have arrived in Israel and settled in Jerusalem since 2018, knowing that about half of them are between the ages of 18 and 35, but about 30% of them left Jerusalem in the past five years.
