Ministers and Knesset members request storming Al-Aqsa tomorrow

Last night, Hebrew Channel 7 reported that Israeli government ministers, along with Knesset members from the government coalition, submitted a request to obtain the necessary approval to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque next Thursday.

According to the channel, it is still not clear whether approval will be granted to those ministers and Knesset members.

The talk is mainly about the so-called Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, who said yesterday evening that he had not yet decided whether he would take this step.

This coincides with the Israeli government's insistence that the march of flags proceed according to its plan by passing through the Damascus Gate and the Old City, despite warnings from the resistance factions against any provocative steps.

The Israeli security system said yesterday that it is preparing for several scenarios, including the outbreak of confrontations in the region, the implementation of operations, and even the possibility of firing missiles from the Gaza Strip towards Jerusalem, as happened two years ago, which caused the launch of Operation "Guardian of the Walls / Sword of Jerusalem."

Palestinian factions and activists called on citizens to go to Al-Aqsa Mosque at dawn on Thursday to confront the settlers' incursions.
