Three soldiers and seven rebels were killed in clashes in Pakistan
The Pakistani army announced that three soldiers and seven insurgents were killed Thursday night in three separate clashes in northwest Pakistan.
And these battles took place for a short period in the area of Lucky Marwat state of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the border with Afghanistan.
The first incident occurred when a man blew himself up near a security post, which led to an exchange of fire between soldiers and other attackers.
Two more clashes took place later in other parts of the state, according to the army.
"Weapons and ammunition were seized from the seven terrorists who were killed," he said in a statement, confirming the death of three soldiers.
Pakistan has been facing for months, especially since the return of the Taliban to power in Kabul in August 2021, a security deterioration, especially in the border areas with Afghanistan.
Most of the attacks are carried out by the Pakistani Taliban, a group distinct from the Afghan Taliban but with the same Islamic ideology.
Pakistan accuses the Afghan Taliban of allowing the Pakistani Taliban to plan its attacks from Afghan territory, which the Taliban constantly denies.
