Prisoners' Club: Demolishing the homes of the prisoners' families is a collective punishment aimed at revenge

The Prisoner Club confirmed, following the demolition of the house of the prisoner Omar Jaradat in the town of Silat al-Harithiya / Jenin, at dawn this day, that the demolition of the homes of the families of the prisoners is only part of the reprisals pursued by the occupation authorities against the prisoner and his family, and his continuous attempt to discourage the Palestinian from his right to resist. Occupation and confronting it.


He pointed out that this house is the fourth house of the Jaradat family that has been demolished since the beginning of this year, in addition to the fact that there are other houses belonging to families of martyrs whose bodies are being held and threatened with demolition.


He said: House demolitions constitute the most prominent systematic policy that has been linked to the history of the occupation in implementing its substitution policies over the past decades, and although international institutions consider this measure a violation of the principles of international law, a war crime and collective punishment, the occupation continues to implement it without the slightest regard for everything It is stipulated by international laws and norms.
