Gaza - "Jerusalem" dot com - The UN Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wensland , arrived on Tuesday morning to the Gaza Strip , through the Beit Hanoun "Erez" checkpoint.

During his visit, which will last for several hours, Wensland will meet with officials from Palestinian and international institutions operating in the Gaza Strip, to learn about the latest developments in the humanitarian and living conditions of the population.

It is not known whether Wensland will meet with the leadership of Hamas or not, as he was on several occasions in the Gaza Strip, meeting with the leadership of the movement secretly, and other times openly.
