New York - (DBA / TCA) - Former US President Donald Trump announced the death of his ex-wife, Ivana Trump, at the age of 73.

"I am deeply saddened to inform all of those who loved her, which are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York," Trump said on the "Truth" social media platform.

"She was an amazing, beautiful, amazing woman who led an amazing and inspiring life," he added.

Police went to Ivana Trump's home in Manhattan, New York, and no crime was suspected behind the death, according to the New York Daily News.

It is noteworthy that Ivana Trump is the mother of the president's daughter, Ivanka, and his two sons, Don Jr. and Eric. Trump married her in 1977 and they divorced in 1992.
