The Journalists Syndicate calls for the widest media coverage of the Shuafat camp siege

Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Journalists Syndicate called for the widest media coverage of the occupation forces' siege of Shuafat camp and the town of Anata for the fourth day in a row.


The Syndicate said in a statement that Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian sanctities will remain the compass of the Palestinian national struggle, and that all attempts by the occupation to Judaize it, uproot the steadfast Jerusalemites, and those who challenge the occupation measures in all forms of struggle need and require all national, Arab and international media, especially radio stations, to open daily broadcasts. About this legendary steadfastness of the Jerusalemites, especially their historic decision to civil disobedience, which was announced by the people of all their national and social components, in protest against this siege and unjust aggression.


The Syndicate called on all Palestinian, Arab and international journalists and media institutions to send their press crews to cover the occupation siege of Shuafat camp and Anata town, which the occupation turned into a large prison in which more than 150,000 Jerusalemites live in Shuafat camp and Anata town.
