Foreign affairs and expatriates: The occupation's foreign affairs statements are a flagrant violation of the status quo at Al-Aqsa

Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The political advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates , Ambassador Ahmed Al-Deek, expressed the Ministry's rejection of what was stated by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the interception of the Jordanian Ambassador, Ghassan Al-Majali, during his entry to Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday, Tuesday.

Al-Deek said in a press statement that these statements are illegal and do not go beyond wordplay, and that they are contradictory and totally rejected.

He considered that the statements of the Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman that “the Israeli police are responsible for enforcing the law in Al-Aqsa Mosque ” is a flagrant violation of the existing historical, political and legal situation in the mosque, and the attempt to justify the Jordanian ambassador’s objection to the reason for the absence of (prior coordination) is also a change in the situation. legal in the mosque.

Ambassador Al-Deek confirmed that the Islamic Endowments Department is exclusively responsible for organizing entry and exit to the mosque and is also responsible for all the affairs of the mosque and its courtyards, and that Muslims do not need any prior coordination or permission from the occupation police to enter the mosque.

He said: This Israeli clarification expresses the persistence of the occupation authorities in targeting Christian and Islamic holy sites, foremost of which is the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
