Ramallah – “Jerusalem” dot com – The Prisoner’s Club said, on Monday, that the occupation prison administration has transferred, since January 8, 220 prisoners from several prisons, including Hadarim, Megiddo, and Rimon, as follows. Next: (80) from Hadarim prison, (70) from (Megiddo) prison, and (70) from Rimon prison.
The Prisoner's Club stated in a press statement that the administration of "Raymond" prison transferred yesterday and today (70) prisoners to (Jilboa) prison, from all organizations, and it is expected that another series of transfers will be carried out during the next stage, and it may last up to a month. March of this year.
This transfer comes in the light of large-scale transfers announced by the occupation prison administration, which may affect 2,000 prisoners. The transferred prisoners will be distributed mainly to the new sections in (Nafha), (Ofer) and (Gilboa) prisons.
It is noteworthy that the Occupation Prisons Administration pursues transfers for several purposes, the most important of which is to strike any “stability” situation that the prisoner tries to create inside the prison, and through which it tries to impose more control and oversight on the prisoners.
Noting that the transfer operations escalated significantly within a plan, after the heroic operation "Tunnel of Freedom", and the prison administration tried to impose a new equation on the prisoners through periodic transfers, in the context of compromising the organizational situation, but the prisoners faced this through a series of battles that continued. From September 2021 until last year.
