The People's Assembly expressed its solidarity and full support for the Syrian people and their army in the continuous efforts to cleanse Syria of the remnants of "terrorism" supported by the Israeli entity.

In turn, the Islamic Jihad movement said: "This aggression clearly proves the extent of the Zionists' hatred and fascism, and their continuous efforts to target Syria and deepen the tragedy of the brotherly Syrian people who are healing their wounds after the devastating earthquake."

It affirmed its standing with Syria in the face of these conspiracies led by the Israeli entity, which target its sovereignty, security, stability and unity.
