Doha University of Science and Technology organized its annual on-campus Festival of Cultures to celebrate the multiculturalism and diversity of the university community, which consists of more than 70 nationalities, in the presence of ambassadors and representatives from various embassies along with Doha University of Science and Technology students, faculty, staff and their families.

The number of visitors to the festival reached nearly 10,000 over the course of two days in the main courtyard of the university campus, as the place was transformed into an exhibition of arts and culture.

The university allowed the participating students to decorate their pavilion in a way that perfectly represents the values and traditions of their countries. The attendees were also encouraged to come dressed in their traditional clothes and enjoy the various artistic and cultural activities offered by the students of the countries represented: Qatar, Bangladesh, Egypt, France, India, Indonesia, and Iran. , Iraq, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, the Philippines, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Turkey and Yemen.
