On Tuesday evening, the Fatah youth, the student arm of the "Fatah" movement, achieved a victory described as "important" against the Islamic Bloc, the student arm of the " Hamas " movement, in the elections of the Polytechnic University in Hebron.
The youth achieved 21 seats, compared to 19 for the Islamic Bloc, and one seat for the left-wing "Nabad" bloc.
The voter turnout, as announced by the Special Election Commission, was 63 percent.
