The village of Al-Tuwani, located in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron city, witnessed a violent attack by extremist settlers this Sunday morning, resulting in severe material losses to Palestinian citizens' properties and places of worship.
Field sources reported that the attackers deliberately set fire to the village mosque, in addition to burning three residential homes and a private vehicle, in a new escalation targeting the Palestinian presence in Area C of the occupied West Bank.
These attacks come amidst an increasing pace of organized settler attacks against Palestinian villages and towns, especially in the Masafer Yatta areas, which face continuous displacement and restriction plans by Israeli authorities and settler groups.
Extremist settlers burned a mosque, 3 homes, and a vehicle during an attack they launched on the village of Al-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta.
