A family suffocated during the occupation forces’ storming of Deir Istiya, west of Salfit
A family, including a child, suffered from suffocation due to inhaling toxic gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces during their raid on the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit.
The mayor of Deir Istiya, Abdul Rahim Zidane, reported that the occupation army stormed the area adjacent to the entrance to the town last night and fired tear gas bombs at citizens’ homes, which resulted in a family suffering from suffocation, including a four-month-old child.
Zidane pointed out that the occupation forces are targeting the town repeatedly, and are continuing their attacks on citizens and their property, closing its main entrance, and preventing citizens from moving.
