Israeli occupation releases 18 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip
Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation authorities released 18 citizens from the Gaza Strip, who had been arrested since the ground invasion of the Strip on October 27, 2023.
The 18 released prisoners were transferred to the Gaza European Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that one of the released prisoners was injured in his left leg.
According to testimonies of those previously released, the detainees were subjected to “beating, torture, insults and interrogation by the occupation army throughout the period of detention.”
Since the start of the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, the occupation army has arrested thousands of citizens, including women, children, and health and civil defense workers. A small number of them were later released, while the fate of the others remains unknown.
